i ran the flows all summer last year and i was really surprised at how well they help up. I went to 3 or 4 races, to weeks in whistler, and the rest of the season riding in bromont and i ended up with a few very small dents in the back rim, but the truing was super easy... well, the back one...
i am also curious to know how they hold up for DH aswell. i havent heard anything about lack of power, but it seems like the new lever designs it much weaker then the old one. I've seen a few pics of snapped xo levers so i think that would be my only concern for using them for DH

I used these pads all season with the padlock at the knee. They are definitely some of the most comfortable shins ive worn, but like capricorn said, the straps need to be properly placed or they irritate the back of your knee a little bit.

i rode with them all season and litterally have not had one problem with them (and i rode alot this season). i guess i just got lucky, but i hope this doesnt happen latter on.
