--Wash when it's muddy or very dusty: diluted Simple green and a low pressure spray
--Lube chain upon washing or when it dries out
--Check tire pressure before each ride
--Check for loose spokes after each ride
--Clean fork stanchions/seal area after each ride
--Check fasteners every 5-10 rides...
I couldn't say for sure, though I will note that the bike felt fine on most landings and drops. It was mostly small successive hits that brought out the harshness in my case. I imagine if it were just a pedal issue, it may be evident on all types of hits and not just near the top of the stroke.
A lot of people worry about that, but I never noticed my feet moving with the suspension. The rear-end harshness resulted in a lot of pedal feedback, but I don't think the floating BB piece itself had anything to do with that.
I had an '09 Boot'r during the '10 race season. I liked it for the most part, though I found the rear suspension to be less active than other bikes I've ridden. The anti-squat characteristics of the Freedrive system made the beginning of the stroke somewhat harsh, though it did pedal pretty well...

Gutted. I hoped it might be somewhere on the West--preferably Northstar since they reportedly put a bid on it--so this is a disappointment.

The x7 2x10 is cool, but this is a DH forum. I'm sure it's getting plenty of love on the AM side of things (as it should.)
I like the idea of a DC Domain too. My SC Domain has been great, but if I had the option to do a DC version when I bought it, I might well have gone for the dual.
I also think it would be cool if they fit these to stock Big Hits in the near future.
Fair enough. Still, I think the V-10 has proven itself as a race bike in general. And the new Glory may do so too. I'll take one for a spin if I get the chance.
