I haven't posted here in approximately three forevers, but here goes. Build it, ride it, love it. I can't believe you honestly feel like you needed to ask.
Go with what they've said already... Learn it as a flyout first. As long as you keep your head and shoulders turning, the rest of your body will rotate. Come around, spot your landing and you're set.
Don't spend too much time doing them as flyouts, though. As soon as you land a couple, start...
Back when I used Opera, if I wanted a free version I had to be willing to be served ads. I wasn't, so I stopped using it. Is that still the case?
I used Firefox exclusively now. A downside would be that on one site in particular that I like to use for bike parts, the online shopping cart and...
Just so's you knows... The specs circulating on the 250L are a little messed up. A lot of people are looking at an online version of a catalog where the description for the 250L was swapped out for the description of their race frame.
Most Standard stuff is really good. Rick's a really big...
Yes, and it's a wonderful thing.
Furthermore, they came through Indy recently, and the show was also a wonderful thing. The only thing I don't dig about Social D is that Mike Ness essentially reads from a script during their concerts - he has the exact same between-song banter every night.
Well, it's probably not my biggest problem. It's just the one that I think of first.
I've seen six (or is it seven?) sets of Profile cranks fail in the same time that I've been running the same Primo Powerbites, so I'm pretty set in that department.
As far as the Profile wobble, it's usually...
Well, the Primo Powerbite cranks are basically copies of the old GT cranks that no one would buy years ago. They're stiffer than steel, and in my experience they have been bomb-proof.
My biggest problem with steel cranks are the lack of pinchbolts on the crank arms. I like those. And I hate...
Didn't a kid also crush his face during the Ghetto Comp? Also, I would think that it would be really hard to get that big old mountain bike frame to come around off a wallride in time to land, but maybe I'm wrong.
Any computer will crash without regular maintenance. It's not all that different from bikes, really. My work machine (Mac) is rock solid. As someone said before, it only goes down when I click "restart." Other people in the building have no idea what they're doing, and before they know it, the...
HA! Makes me wish I could make the trip out. I'd get on the internet and become a reverend just to perform the ceremony. Maybe you could get some other 'monkey to do that...
This other board I frequent was having a discussion about funny band names. One of the best ones mentioned was:
"John Madden Will Put Foot Cream On You Because You Are A ****ing Foot Fungus."
I laughed out loud. For a long time even.
Riding (is what I do really "cycling?") is how I define my lifestyle. Obviously with a son and a wife I don't spend as much time on my bike as I did before, but it's one of the most important things in my life all the same.
