To bad. While looking around on Cane Creek's site I noticed that Cane Creek has setting recommendations for the non air version of the Double Barrel on the G2. Do you know how they decide on those settings? I just rode a carbon Devinci Wilson with a CCDB and using the recommended settings from...
Cane Creek's description of the Air Volume Options and how they work
AIR VOLUME OPTIONS
As an additional tuning tool, the spring rate of the DBAIR can be adjusted through the use of air volume reduction spacers (included with the DBAIR). For bikes that have a more progressive leverage...
I'm stoked to hear some feed back on the G2. Do you have the larger air can on the CCDB air? Will be good to hear how the RC4 compares. Does very lively mean that it is rougher riding or that it is easier to maneuver, or both?
Nice light build. Ridden it yet? What is the ride like compared to the G1? Miss that extra travel at all?
How is the DB Air on there?
Sorry for all the questions but I'm really interested in the bike and I don't know if I'll get the chance to see one in person let alone ride one before...
40 RAD air?
DVO?
this is torture.... Looks like I'll have a 2013 40 for sale shortly :)
Ianjenn, if you can't wait I'd say get the 40 but that is only because I like my 40 a little bit more than the i liked my Boxxer WC. Although I did try some one else's Boxxer WC with an avalanche...

Weight difference noticeable?
Suspension feel the same at the beginning, middle, end of the stroke?
Feel just as fast, faster, through the rough?
thanks!
This image was on the Zerode site and it looks like this guy (Kieran Bennett) is racing the G2 and did rather well getting 2nd behind Sam Blenkinsop. I'd sure like to hear what differences he feels between the G1 and G2.
Less rearward travel too? If so do you think it will negatively affect how the bike deals with square edge bumps? Maybe less will be more in this case?
I'm looking forward to hearing what you think of the G2 once you've gotten it together and gotten some rides on it. Also curious what the weight...
