my rear wheel is hope hub and arrow rim. 7 years old no problem.
if i were to build a new one i'd probably go profile. but super happy with hope.
xt hubs are fine. dt hubs are nice too.
two of my friends flew from nyc to visit me in oakland.
they disassembled their bmx bikes and put them in big duffle bags.
no charges either way. just make sure it's not overweight.
there were a few great dirt jumpers on the evil team back in the day.
i also know a handful of guys who jumped imperials very well.
$400 for a complete is a good deal, go for it.
i tried on the five ten freerider shoe and it felt awesome.
very very stiff and very comfortable too.
if i had the money i'd have bought them on the spot.
highly recommend.
i just read it off the odyssey blog.

if i were in new york, i'd go to dah shop and ask them if they could get them in.
a couple shops out here in oakland have good bmx connects so i'll try here soon.
maybe i'm late on this,
but odyssey path and aitken tires are "now available" in 24"!!!
my specialized compounds are still running pretty strong tho.. i'll have to wait.
aren't there a ton of concrete parks in oregon?

*sorry for the not-so-informative reply. sounds like it will be a fun trip.
is it just muscle soreness/strain or could it be joint pain?
i'd be very careful if it seems like joint pain.
if you hurt your shoulders before you should take it easy
and do some recovery exercises (like small circle rotations in a fireman pull position).
don't let it get worse.
