We had worked with pre-preg years ago hear at work and still have the machinery to do it. this fender idea has definitely crossed my mind, but it all comes down to $$$$ for tooling. the material itself is not that expensive. it's the machine time to make a tool. there are so many cool things...
9.5" travel setting, middle Progression, 450lb spring, 2 turns preload, .75 turn in on HSC, 10 clicks in on LSC, 4 turns in on HSR, and 13 clicks in on LSR. I'm 6' and weigh 190lbs w/o gear. The 400lb spring was too soft, I would like a 425lb Ti spring or in the light weight steel from K9...
Wow, what a great write up. I only have two little rides on mine so I haven't really experimented yet. Mine is in the 9.5" setting and works super good. Zero degree headset and middle G3. The bike is honestly so stable I don't know why I would want to try the long G3, unless its a super fast...

N-Style (the moto graphics co) sells clear plastic, super thick stuff too. I ran it on my downtube and chain/seatstays and it did the job. For $15 or so you get 3 or 4 large sheets. Google and call 'em up!

I really don't get what everyones fuss is about with Intense developing new bikes. So, is like Ferrari supposed to bring out the 458 and call it good for 10 years. No, they probably have Massa testing a new car right now.
Big deal, Intense makes new bikes, they are supposed to right ... duh...
after watching this thread for quite some time, I think it is finally gettting some where. I can't wait to get mine now that I'm seeing some real builds.
