The Minion definitely sucks for mud, it packs up and is like a slick. I tracked down some Maxxis wet screams, used Stans No tube sealant and mounted them on UST rims - kick ass. If it is not wet though the wet screams high knobs definitely fold a lot in dry conditions though.
Keep the wheels but get rid of the tubes by running Stan's no tubes. Set up right they work great. also will have fewer pinchflats. It is simple to do and I have done it to all my scoots. I feel the tires accelerate quicker as well.
First off if the UN had stepped in and just said that it was genocide then it opens the door for stepping in and resolving the issue. The UN does not want to step on anyones toes and has not, I believe, ever stated that genocide is occuring in the Sudan. Actually, the US (Madam Secretary Rice)...
Bullit can do everything depending on how you build it up. I use my for trail riding and urban. PM me if you want to try my Bullit or Intense 5.5 EVP since I am right around the corner from you in Clarendon.
Shimano supposedly went to this to make the rear and front deraileur work the same. Like it on my trail bike but not on my DH rig, I run older XTR on that.
I have two bikes with Hadleys laced to 823s. They rule! Don't know about the DT hubs but I plan on never running anything but Hadley's. As for running tubes with them not a problem just don't put a rim strip in there as it is unneccesary.
I gave up on single ply tires. Running the pressure that high makes handling way sketchy. I had just built up an Intense 5.5 EVP and tried to save some weight. The first ride out, literally 5 minutes into it, I blew the tire while blowing through a stream I had crossed 50 times before with...
When I lived in Richmond and was in the same situation at the beginning of court the Judge asked if anyone wanted to go to driving school and to come up to the bench. Then they asked your name and looked at the paperwork the judge had in front of him. I was allowed to go to driving school, the...
Damien if you need a good orthopedist try Chris Annunziata. His office is in Arlington hospital. Did my wifes collarbone surgery. He comes highly recommended as one of my friends who was chief resident of orthopedic surgery at Georgetown told me if he had to see an orthopedist that is who he...
I was there and it looked like a fun race (wife and her sister did it together as a sort of bachelorette thing since sister is getting married this weekend). I think I saw your orange Surly in the final area before the mud pit.
