Oh how I have mellowed out over the years. If you like 'em, buy 'em. If you don't, well then don't. Something for everyone, and some things for no one.
"Too expensive" has never been in the vocabulary for you guys buying BMW products in the past with Avalanche MTN suspension and the like. I'm sure the Silencer will sell as fast as they are produced, regardless of pricing.
Hi Philip,
Any update on the 24/38 shiftrings availability in the US? I chopped the 4x64 bosses off my Hone cranks to run the original Security guide I have, but now I'm repurposing that bike with a double crankset and this seems like the perfect fix to get my granny back. I know it's the...
That's it in a nutshell for Romic. The OMG valving as they called it was very nice. If they could have kept them from barfing oil so often maybe they could have hung around longer. That, and if Darren stayed with the company too, LOL.
It had quad bearings at every pivot. Still didn't feel very stiff, and surely not as stiff as the thru-axle pivots that Turner used...how could it be? Pivots 1" wide vs pivots 5" wide...alot more support offered. That's just my take though.
LOVE this idea / special edition! What fork are those geo numbers with? I prefer my RFX's suspension and stiffness over Ventana's (owned a Bruja previously) but if I was buying now I think I could "settle" to get the Path's geo, no problem. Nice bike! I'd love to ride one.
FRX is an awesome rim. A lighter, narrower mini DHX for narrower tires. I run a 2.4 just fine, but have run up to a full 2.7 with no problems. Very beefy and need very little truing.
170mm and no bash huh? Lazy spec., hardly seems like the highest percentage of buyers/riders would opt for a big ring. When will long travel bikes come standard 24/36/bash or 26/38/bash? And it's crazy how different a session looks with the BB jacked up like that!
