I would strongly advice against the KHS, haven't checked the numbers on it, but I used to ride xc on a C-Dale Chase because I wanted a bike that could double for dirtjumps and skatepark as well. It was a effing chore, and I eventually sold it. I should probably mention that it's a ten mile ride...
Worked like a charm for me, might have had one autorefresh during the whole thing. As has been mentioned elsewhere in this thread I found Martins commentary to be very competent. I think my fave commentator combo is Tim March and Rob Warner, and if not Tim then someone else with a bit of...
Just thought this might interest those who are building or contemplating building their own gearbox bikes.

It's allready being used on commuter bikes here in Denmark (and other places I suppose). Dunno if it's old...
What about High Rollers in this L.U.S.T. format? Don't think there's anything about them on the maxxis site but here's a review: http://www.bikeradar.com/gear/category/components/tyres/mountain/product/high-roller-lust-ust-tyre-21-31747

That was some EXTREME screaming, but decent enough I guess. Looks cool when he turns his head, and by cool I mean totally sweet.

It seems that this site draws its fair share of conspiracy theorists. So in which way is this conected with the sinking of the titanic and area 51? I think you'll find that it's already there under everyones nose(s), and hes always been and being (sic) the case...
And what it my...
I think this post, or something like it should be sticky'd.
Rant ON:
If the leatt brace does what it says it does (and I have no reason to doubt it) I think it makes all this 'I cant really afford it right now' seem pretty silly, I mean if you can afford to get a DH bike, you can afford to...
I think strength in depth is also something to consider, I'm not saying DH doesn't require skill, but as someone else said, Sam Hills ecimating of the field on a couple of occations could also point to DH being an amateur sport, or more precisely, is a young sport and therefore 'soft'(no...
I just loooovvvee how every other post says 'cast alu is really brittle' I find it extremely hard to imagine that someone would venture into making a cast frame without having a bit of knowledge on the subject, and by a bit I mean probably a whole lot more than you. They're trying something new...
It would be really cool if this could be used to make a non/less restrictive neck brace, would be good to see a proliferation of that, too many debilitating injuries.
I think it's hard to sompare the two. Without really knowing, I'd say that there may be a question of strength in depth, between these two guys. On the other hand I think it's a weak argument to say that someone's wrong in sayingthatr Sam Hill is on hte same level or above as Voullioz, just...
