delusional.
If it weren't for Dungey's DNF last yr in motocross, he would've WON the championship. Not Villopoto. FACT.
Villopoto only had 3 overall wins in MX, to Dungey's and Reed's 4 overall's each...so it's not like Villo is some overly dominating factor in outdoors. And Steward put in...
Wasn't about the pay according to James. Suzuki wouldn't offer him a long-term deal. They wanted a 1-yr, he wanted a multi-year deal. Job security was his motive, and not having to worry about renegotiating a deal, or searching for a new one 3/4 of the way through one season.
JGR came...
Didn't win it easily? umustbhigh. Dungey wasn't pressuring him whatsoever. Following? Yes. Pushing the pace, and applying pressure? No.
Stewart wasn't even going 85% the entire time. His best lap time was a 2:04, and he was just cruising clicking off 2:06-2:07's the entire time, because he...
RC to save money, w/ avy cart?
I run the RC, w/ the largest shim removed. much improved. coupled that with running no oil seals, the fork is very plush (in comparison to stock). As Jimlad noted, the RC does spike, and is horrible through the rough chatter, but the above mods did wonders on...
Subscribed for interest.
Where do you guys pick up shims to play with valving? And is there a site or a quick explanation of what size shims affect what part of the stroke?
just a few

owning a voltage myself...
i suggest you either buy a fr30 and save the money. or buy a fr10 all done up.
the fr20 isn't much better at all, for the money, compared to the fr30.
same rims, same fork (cept has the compression damper), and a marginally better, AT BEST, shock. not worth it. w/...
thanks for the tip, repped.
$20 for some OS bushings....first time I've seen some a set for sale that are reasonably priced for what they are.
I'll have to pick some up for myself and a friend and see how it works out.
please keep this thread or me (thru pms) updated on how it ends up working out for ya w/ the RC damper in place. Feel any different vs. that of the coil in place (like maybe more progressive in the last part of the stroke, etc).
and can anyone confirm if the left leg stanchion DOES in fact...
stock is 73.5*. i havent the slightest idea of how much a drop in BBH or 1* slacker does to STA...but i haven't had an issue at all w/ it at 64* HA and 200F/180R susp setup. everything i ride, i got to climb up for the most part, so the relatively steep STA has been nice compared to the slacked...
use a scott voltage frame...run the 8.5 shock dropout, and run a 7.785 i2i shock...you will end up w/...
110-120mm travel
16.7 CS
somewhere between 63-64 HA (stock is 65)
somewhere around low-13" BB (13.7 is stock)

none at all. the TI coil winds are so far spaced...it just gives you plenty of breathing room even when deep in the stroke.
never once made metal to metal contact on the coil winds...atleast not to what my ears have heard or what i can see on the coil in terms of markings.
not too much lately. i picked up a bmx bike, and was riding the bikepark a little bit for a while. i'm going to start riding my voltage more often now that it's rained a bit.. went out hiking in some hills out in pleasanton last weekend looking for some potential spots to build some trails...
i think a lot had to do with tire selection.
during practice #3, james stewart ran the fastest qualifier on a works dunlop tire, and probably would've ran it for the main, but yamaha or dunlops manager (forget who he works for), broc glover, reclaimed the dunlop tire from JGR. he also ran a...
