    Well, i'll answer my own question with a very simple tip! While browsing a motorcycle forum, i came upon this very simple solution...Hot water. Let your fork (seal/wiper end) soak in HOT water for 10-15 mins and they come out like they were dipped in butter...

    The items are being shipped to Louisiana...My sister lives there...so that would not be an issue...Cheaper to get it shipped there and me picking it up in 2 weeks since i will be heading over there for my vacations... thanks for the input though.

    Different vendor's spring on a shock?

    Hi. This is probably an easy question to answer, but I was wondering if there are any problems in using a different manufacturers spring on a rear shock? Let's say you have a Fox rear shock, can you put a Manitou spring on it? Of course, same lenght and all... Thanks!

    Well, as winter approaches, i'm starting to think about how i am going to 'store' my bikes for those cold winter months... Is it ok to hang them by the front wheel? Could it be bad for the Fork or wheel itself? If it matters, my DH has a Shiver and my XC a Judy. Any inputs appreciated...

    I have 2 Brodies...A 2002 Diablo and and 2002 8-Ball. I've had no problems whatsoever with the Diablo. The 8-Ball, i blew the shock twice since (2 full seasons). I consider that 'normal' for a Vanilla R...Looking to upgrade :) I've also had nothing but great customer support from Brodie...

    I made some for my bikes using Lexan...Cost me about 10 bucks (Canadian dollars) for a piece of 1/4" and cut 3 guards from it. Pretty darn cheap and it has been on my bikes for 3 years and counting...
