    My respect for Lappy slightly outweighs my disdain for Pronger. 15 years of playing his ass off every shift of every game, and this is his first trip to the final. No matter who wins, this should be one helluva series.

    But the Hawks have the Hossa curse... ;) I was disappointed when the Avs let Ian Laperriere walk last summer, and hope he gets his name on the Cup. Go Flyers!

    I am rooting for Chicago to get to the finals and lose, so that Hossa can be on three different teams that lost in the finals in three consecutive years.

    Never would have guessed the conference finals would be 1 vs 2 in the West and 7 vs 8 in the East. Picking the Flyers in 6 and Sharks in 7...

    Here's that picture I promised. It may not be the exact one she crashed into - there are a few in different locations, but they all have the same design.

    The gates are huge, and go across pavement. They're designed to prevent vehicular access. You can't miss them. They are nowhere near singletrack. I'll try to get a picture of one the next time I ride there (if there is a next time :rolleyes:).

    Not only is she still riding, she showed up on recent local ride handing out flyers promoting her new gym. This is the place I ride after work most days, so I'm going to be very disappointed when it gets closed because of her.

    How did everyone do with their predictions? Strictly win/loss, 2/4 in the East and 4/4 in the West. Counting series length, only 2/8 overall. :( Round 2 predictions anyone? East: 1- Pens over Habs in 6 2- Flyers over Bs in 7 West: 1- Wings over Sharks in 5 2- Hawks over Canucks...
