I just got my cowan DS in frame this week and plan to set it up with a 110mm dj 2. I read on one of the Kona tech fourms that Kona says that the cowan ds frame was designed to be ridden with a 100-110 mm fork. I will try to go back and find the forum and post a link.
anyone running their 40 in 7 inch mode? how difficult was the conversion? also....anyone running a fox 40 in 8" mode on an 06 stinky? is it too raked out?

for the non-concrete stuff, page AddomG on the RP site and ask about Crawford Park. I'm not sure if any of the stuff is still there, I heard most of it got torn down, but he could tell ya for sure. Also check out Zboaz park in Ft. Worth, same story, I think there are a few stunts left out there...
Dallas is flat, no doubt about it, but there are some good riding options. We have a pretty big crew of riders who downhill and "freeride". Pretty good urban scene, numerous bike friendly skate parks and tons of dirt jumps. There is pretty good dh within 3-4 hour drive (arkansas/oklahoma). There...
That course is badass. good rock gardens, smoking fast fire road and plenty of jumps/drops. If your gonna make one of the MDHCS races this is the one. The race is sat am, with practice on friday and sat am.
