    I believe they busted the thieves a while ago. But the hills are full of tweakers, so like others have said, take all valuables with you. As far as I knew, most of the break ins were out on Highland drive. If you park in the parking lot, it's a little safer, as the thieves would be bottle-necked...

    I'll second the DHX5. I'm 5-11, 175 on a large and I use a 500# spring, and stay light on the preload. As far as a DH shock, it's a dream, It will get you to the bottom of the hill in a hurry!:thumb: But it also pedals and even climbs pretty good (well, pretty good for a 7" bike on a coil spring!)

    Check out www.reserveamerica.com for some of the major campgrounds on the north side, good luck for the first race though, alot of them are advanced reservation only and it is the weekend before the fourth of July. There are first come first serve types on Hwy. 89 between Hwy. 80 and Tahoe City...

    Headlock all the way. I use an Azonic Mtb Short, it solved the problem right away. I hear Woodman's is supposed to be the superior product though.

    I'd just go direct to Marz. for them instead of waiting for shop to order them for you. If you do want to try a local shop, I'd try either Evolution in Cupertino, or Trailhead in SJ. If anyone had them in stock, it would be either of those two.
