Spokane does get hot and dry in the summer and the winters can suck for riding (too much snow) but I usually ride 10-11 months out of the year. Spokane has a lot of good riding in the City. Lots of places for XC and there's Beacon which has DH, Freeride and XC. You can ride year round on the...

Sweet. Eventually this will be a new DH course from top to bottom but for now we just have the ok to build the lower half. So far we've made good progress.

The trail uses an existing trail (named Kessel Run on the map). If you head west up the hill from the skills park you will run into it. The end of the trail is going to be close to where the Good Times trail ends. Right now we're working further up the trail on a wall-ride and berm. Time to go...
The work has already started on a new DH line. It's going to have expert and beginner lines with rock drops, berms, rock gardens, jumps and a wall-ride. We've got people out working on most days. If you're interested in helping send me a PM.
Ok, sorry for the misunderstanding. The newest section of trail that someone has been building is near the bottom of the DH course and winds through the trees with berms. So if anyone knows who is responsible please let me know.
We encourage people to talk to us if they want to build new...
None of the building that has been going on in the past month is legal or has been approved. Some people may not be aware of what's been happening at Beacon the last few years. The FTTRC and people from the Beacon Hill Project have worked hard on getting permission from all the different...

Yes, motorcycles are a problem but there is a process now for building any sort of new trails, as I'm sure you know. Unapproved trail building at Beacon is a thing of the past.
The City is against changes on existing trails but for now there is a new group which will make decisions on all...
Your best bet is going to be Beacon.
I wouldn't get too excited about Mt. Spokane unless you like to pedal up. Expect it to be like last year.
Up North there's Indian Trail which has some trails. A few jumps and some slalom-type trails. There's also djs a little further north of the...
On Thursday night someone removed some flagging and stole some of my tools on a trail that I am building. The trail is an approved legal trail that is being built. It could have been anyone but there were a few people camped out not too far from the trail.
So as a reminder: Please Respect...
