Depressing, but aligned to what internet searches suggested. I appreciate the input and let me know if you think of more. I will try to find more on private tracks, since paying may be better than not riding.
Any suggestions on places near Seattle to let a kid learn to ride a motorcycle? Tracks, trails or open land that is legal are all accepted. My on-line research has been that successful so any input is appreciated.
Funny part is he actually commented on how big the gap was. He had us do a mini comparison to the distance on the table on 2 hi. He is trying to figure out when he will be ready to hit it and asks if I could hit it. Sad when your 8 year old son is trying t figure out when he is going to hit...
Props to all the builders at Duthie Hill. This is going to be an amazing playground once complete.
Here is my son, Ethan, running 2 Hi. This is a great trail for him and excited that our SeaTac replacement is a major step up.
Looking for recommendations on a reasonably priced helmet cam. I have heard good things about the Twenty20 VholdR, but wondering if the quality of Oregon Scientific ATC3k or other lower cost models are comparable. I would like to get a camera in the $150 range, but don't want low quality...
I built a skinny so my son (6 years old) can run the middle line. I tried to build in a manner that can support an adult, but it is really designed with a kid in mind. Please contribute to the build (reinforce, suggestions, etc) and don't take it down.
I appreciate it.
Manitou Sherman Breakout Plus (1.5") and Cane Creek headset. This is off a 2004 Gemini. The fork is in fair/good condition as it has minor scratches on stanchions and scratches/marks on the fork. Asking $50 and I will send or post pictures for anyone interested.
Looking for assistance with directions and trail map. I am doubtful on the map, but directions would be appreciated.
Also curious if anyone will be biking Woodlot on September 22nd.
Im looking forward to it:) Ive got him to where he will drop off 6 inch curbs and stuff like that. Be really nice when the training wheels come off.
going off curbs with training wheels is how my son started. when your son is ready for a 16" bike, i would recommend the redline pit boss. it...
Your work location (and hours) should play a large part in the places you look to live. Heading North or South of the City during rush hour is futile. East side is OK for now, but 520 will eventually need to be replaced.
There are a lot of great places to live in Seattle including a...
how old is noah now?
my son can just pedal the shred, so he really needs an inch or two in his legs to enable more dh stuff. however, i really liked the bike geometry and brakes. overall the bike seems great except for the front fork, which is too stiff.
based on the video, your...
