Has anyone ever heard of the brand Appalanchian? It's a Korean made bike and I can't find any info on it. I acquired one while I was stationed in Korea.
Strange...I haven't had a single problem with my X-Fly. The only thing I've had to do was put more pressure in it than recommended as a personal preference.
Well, I think I'm going to keep this beast for the foreseeable future. I guess having a second kid on the way will do that to ya. I...
I have disc tabs front and rear already. Everything's still working well; the fork hasn't got any issues and the frame is still as stiff as the day I bought it.
I need some help deciding what direction to go here. Right now I have an '01 GT Zaskar Team with a Marzocchi X-Fly 100. I'm running Mavic wheels and all XT gear. I'm wondering if I should upgrade to disc brakes or would it be more worth my while to get an all new bike.
GT5 shouldn't have too many setbacks as long as they decide whether or not it will be network compatible in the beginning instead of writing the game and then removing that capability.
What are some of the driving sims you play, Steve?
Who says it's okay for kids to do this even on a video game? Certainly not me and I'm sure a lot of people would agree. There's a line between video games and real life and it's not a fine one either.
I know my kids won't ever play that game in my house.
PINKY!! That was uncalled for. :D
To answer Laura's question, like I somewhat stated in my post, who cares what color either side was? They WILL pay one way or another.
Anyone who assaults a member of the armed forces should be sent to military prison. :D Leavenworth sounds good...make some bigger rocks into smaller rocks and get their @sses kicked at the same time.
Who cares if the suspects are black guys? The question should be, "Would you care as much...
If you want good info on Peak Oil, check here: Life After the Oil Crash . There are a lot of good links on that site. Granted, some of it may be a little far fetched, but there's a good amount of it that's plausible.
BTW, gas just broke the $2.30 mark here in Abilene. The shocking part was...
Well, I haven't had too much of an opportunity to post for the past few months due to deployment so I figured I would re-introduce myself. :D
Still in Texas so nothing new really, but I have actually gotten the chance to ride a couple of times recently...Thank God. Can't wait to get out more.
Finally had a chance to hit up the LBS for some info. None of the guys there have ever seen this happen before. They looked up the info with me and saw that I wasn't missing any pieces so at least I know I'm not going crazy. ;) I ended up buying a 1/32" spacer (I think that's about the size)...
I've never used clipless, toe clips or anything of the sort. I was using a set of Wellgo B-37s, but I had a problem with the pedals coming apart. Even loc-tite didn't help. Now I use the new Specialized Lo' Pro Mag Platforms. I love 'em so far. Oh, and I have an old pair of Airwalks that...
Well, I tore everything apart and compared it to the exploded views on Shimano's website. There isn't a picture with a spacer anywhere.
I'm gonna try to hit up the LBS Monday for some ideas, but until then suggestions are still appreciated.
1. The lockring is tight.
2. According to the exploded view on Shimano's website I've got everything I'm suppose to have. (I have the AS-Group - total of 6 pieces)
3. The freehub body is tight except for some very very minimal play.
When the everything's assembled it's obvious that the...
Get it chased, there might be a metal shaving somewhere in the threads on either the BB or the frame itself. I had the same problem when I first put my GT together.
Alright, I have a rear XT disc hub and an XT 9-Speed cassette (I don't remember the numbers, 11-34 maybe?). My problem is that the cassette is loose on the hub. It slides on okay and I've tightened everything up as much as possible without breaking it, but it's still loose.
Any...
