You should all be able to ride together just fine. We got a new park out here where I live and it's for pretty much anything with wheels. There's always a lot of people there, but everyone gets along fine for the most part. Oh, and there are no posted rules other than respect your park, and your...
Everything with wheels allowed, as long as it's not motorized. :) The roller skate kids threw me off at first, but they're cool to see. I would have never thought of rolling in some skates through the park.
You should be just fine rolling in solo. The bikes seem to be in the majority at the moment, and they're a bit of a younger crowd, but they're all harmless. I rolled solo on my deck and was fine. I need a new rear wheel set before I can roll my bike in. So far, everyone is loving the new park...
There's a few places around on this side. There's the ones that are next to the new skate park, which have been there for at least 20 years, and there's another set of them in my town that are a little less talked about, but have been there for almost as long. Gig Harbor also has a decent set as...
It's made for skateboards, bikes, scooters, or whatever. Also, the dirt jumps are right next to it. :D So stoked! If you're located in WA, ID, or OR you should definitely come check this out. Here's a link to the event, and to parks FB page --

I agree with cmc. The DK Cygnus is a solid 24 that won't break your bank. I own one and it has been a great bike for me. As stated though, if you're tall (I am at 6'3") then it will feel a litle cramped, but it's very much not a deal breaker. Just make sure you replace the sinngle wall rims that...
The Seattle Center skatepark has one of those cool glass wall ride things, but it's made out of some crazy ass glass. Actually, the Seattle park looks a lot like the one in the pic here.
I own that exact DK in the picture. Don't bother with trying to find the rims it comes with. They're single wall throw-aways. I've already replaced my rear one and the front is due to be replaced. The rest of the bike is good to go though minus those short little handle bars. :)
Just thought I would share that your shots are getting around. Maybe you already know, or maybe you don't. Either way, check it out. :) http://cruiserrevolution.com/
That's a clean looking ride right there Ratfink. I think this summer I might have to figure out how to trade up from my DK into a Liquid. They just look like so much fun to ride. :D
At 5'10" I can't imagine the 21" tt to be much of an issue for you. For me, that is pretty much my only complaint. I'm 6'3" and I can't do x-ups on it cause I hit my feet with the tire. I suppose I could try shorter crank arms, but at 175, they are already a little small for me. My ideal 24"...
Hey, I have a DK Cygnus 24" and I love it. It's a good ride for what I like to do, which is just get some nice air for now. :) All of my friends that ride 20's though love it. They all comment on how crazy stable it is. I'm new to the game, and I joined up late, so they're opinion counts a lot...
I have 8" bars on my 24" BMX. I dig them. I can't remember what the hell they are though cause they were given to me, not purchased by me. I'll try to remember to throw up a pic later on when I'm not at work.
I find it odd that there are no stats listed anywhere for the bike that I could find. Also, the dual top tube thing is odd to me as well. But those whitewalls look sick! (And remind me of a beach cruiser.) :)
