    Dual Drive Kona Unit

It would make tensioning the chain(s) a bit easier.....Just pull back on the wheel no need to 'center' the rear wheel- like you do w/ one chain.

    Your worst injury

Two broken ankles, a torn ACL, torn cartelidge, two broken arms and a broken wrist. Numerous thumb and finger dislocations. And all of those were from motocross - I started riding bikes 'cause I thought it was "safer" :D . Oh, I almost forgot....a broken boner from a fat chick in PA....but...

    xt or xtr

Me, I vote XT for the shifting, rear der and cranks. I like keeping the LX front der suggestion. And if you are doing discs, definately the XT's - less squeel and the calipers are more easily adjusted (no shims like on XTR). Hubs, if you want to do Shimano, XTR's due to the weight......Cassette...

    Reba for Dirt Jump use?

Thanks for all of your suggestions! I have to say the community at ride monkey is leaps and bound better than any MTB site I have been on in the past. If I were to ask this same question, say on mtbr.com, You get nothing but "gawd you're a dummy" attitudes or flame wars 'bout all kinds of gay...

    Reba for Dirt Jump use?

Hey all y'all, whaddya think about a Reba for Dirt Jump use? Will it be too light for a beginning Dirt Jumper? Will I twist it up the first time I come up short? I have a hub that I want to build a wheel around (a Onyx QR, non-20mm) and want to avoid buying a hub. Your expertise is...

Help me build a commuter bike.....

Discs, a carbon frame and X.0 stuff will make it more appealing to theives....Unless you can take it inside w/ you and keep it in your sight all the time, I'd opt for a beater. -edit- As said above, go SS and put some "meaters" on it. 2.3's or 2.5's You'll have a blast.

Found this link: http://www.curezone.com/cleanse/bowel/master_cleanse.asp Your post reminded me of "Rabbit" in Super Troopers chugging maple syrup at the diner.....(not that funny tho if you haven't seen the movie)...I had a g-friend that tried a similar diet w/ syrup and salt water but she...

Foco bikes do have an aluminum-like ride quality to them....it's due to the shaped tubing....

K&N air filter = better gas mileage

I put a K&N in my GTI and I also noticed an improvement in MPG. But I do have to say the old paper element looked like someone tried to build a sand castle in it.
