3 Ti Front, 3 Ti Rear, 3 full seasons of riding over the last 5 years, saved at least 3 mins of of race time, over the seasons. Jeebus only knows how much time of "freeriding".
Really did run this, then swapped to a different bike, that must weight 5lbs more. Times are the same... I...
Just what don't you know about roost, I'd be happy to explain what I know about it. I just put a fresh rear on my dirt bike, your welcome to stand behind me while practicing starts.
I'm glad you set me straight on that. Here I was thinking, all the ads with that product in moto mags and...
Last time I checked mine the rubber gear was toothless and free floating on the bearing. I took the bearing out, turned a Al "bushing". Mashed it back together ran it for another year. It had seen afew years of use in QC muck and zero maintenance.
A sloppy bushing on a proper shoulder bolt...
Get back in to racing and riding DH on the regular. Do a few BC / AB / Canada cups in Intermediate. As well as any local fun races. I'd be happy with top 1/3 results.
Hit Whistler, Kicking Horse, Sun Peaks, Fernie, Silver Star... Spending every other weekend on the road. I'd love to get...
how hard are you bottoming it out?
what are you doing when it bottoms out?
some people seem to get very hung up on the whole bottom out = garbage setup. if it is mildly bottoming while taking large single hits, but tracking well the rest of the time. then it may just be something you may...
If your in the market and need information but already own one of your top picks. Then why are you in the market? Does your M6, eat shocks? Feel dead? Not pedal well? Oh are the pedals too low? Only turn left or something? Did you snap it in three?
What differences would you like to...
I did the ghetto with 3c deal, worked fine. As long as the goop didn't dry up and I ran +30psi. In the end I found it all to be a pain the butt for little gain. I never felt the 100gram? diff or better traction. I did go 1/2 a season with out a flat, (other then burping while trying 25psi.)...
Coaching is about being able to learn what your student needs. Everyone learns differently and has different skill sets. Knowing how the exploit there raw talent and develop new skills. Communication and trust is key. I learned to ride MX this summer. Hitting that first 80' double, never...
What BB said.
I'd word it slightly differently "practice being slightly out of your comfort zone".
Doesn't have to be big or fast, just push what ever your working on till you lose it. Then do it gain, work on bringing it back once you lose control. Being able to manage slight moments of...
Moto for me, as I also dirt bike. Picked up a Fox V2, this being my third lid. Rather happy with it. After a 661 full face DH lid, then a $100 HJC re branded cheap'o. Both where "tested". I would never go back to a DH lid again. They scare me. Just look for the best fit and feel, of any...
I thought any acceleration in rough stuff was dew to rider input. The bike has very little to do with this. At the end of the day, they all are doing almost the same thing as DW said. It is all in rider feed back, to the bike. That feed back may be greatly be influenced by the feel that a...
