Nevegal stick-e front and rear. Sheds mud great, sticks to the slime, and seems to be durable. I ride an AM Yeti 575 pretty hard and have 2.35 front, 2.1 rear, both in foldable kevlar.
From what I've seen, the Trek Remedy may be your option. It's pretty tough looking and spec'd well. I'm just building up a '08 Yeti 575 for similar uses as you're describing but I haven't ridden it yet so I can't comment on the durability but I have very high expectations from what I've read...
I used to ride for 3 hours a day about 4 days per week. Currently I haven't been free to ride in about 3 months but that should be changing soon. I used to ride freeride and do stupid scary things but those days are gone and I am going to happily embrace my all-mountain enduro roots.
I'm...
As far as DSLRs go, the D60 will get the job done but you may be able to do better for a little more money. Try checking out the D80 and Canon Rebel XSi (currently $635 with good kit lens). Be forewarned, this is a CRAZY expensive hobby but can be very rewarding as well. You're going to want...
Probably. They're in order of how the day went and I think I shot just about everyone. I can't see the bibs in a lot of them and I'm not really keeping track of the numbers. Sorry, you'll just have to click through. If you click on "Detail" under the set title you can see bigger pics in a...
I'm in Spokane for 6 weeks and thought I would head out to Beacon to watch/photo the race today. I haven't ridden DH in about 3 years so taking pictures sounded like less embarassment than riding. The lighting was terrible and I had some focus issues but it was still a great time. Good job to...
cable/satellite companies.... *shudder*
:banghead: :bonk: :imstupid:  :poster_oops:  :help: :dead: :wtf:
I believe those are the appropriate smilies. It's been Comcast cable for me although DirecTV is always a very large temptation. Fios TV and internet are next on my...
Nice try A-hole, and yeah thanks for your "address" too.

Yeah, wait a minute. What about a new AS-X??
I love my AS-X, but I would like a little more advanced suspension and a slight weight loss. I would happily upgrade with those changes. They better not make it an 8" bike. 7-7.5 is juuuust right.
Need a new car so I gots to sell.
$2000 - Can deliver anywhere between Portland and Bellingham. Sorry, no pics right now.
2006 Yeti ASX size M, DHX 5.0 (two small dents on upper rear triangle, no cracks - otherwise great shape)
2007 Marz 66 RC2 ETA (great condition)
Rhyno XL 20mm...
Yep, I think everyone's got it right. Portland or Seattle would be your best bet. Neither is perfect for riding, but both have very good options. Having grown up in Bellingham and now living in the Portland metro area, I would vote Seattle if you want big and Portland if you want small.
