Here are a few more I found:

It doesn't seem to be as dynamic as Supermoto, but I think I'm going to give the Mini Moto thing a try out at the Stockton Motorplex. A friend I've been working...
Does anyone know what trails they're going to close off for the Sunday races? As much as I want to get some good riding in, I'm thinking it might be kind of neat to see how it's done.
I can't do the more common double blacks anyway (Middle Karpiel and Lower Sticks and Stones are both over my...
Yeah, it doesn't make sense that they'd add all the new racks just to scrap the program. But I'm just an outside observer - it's hard to question the insight of the locals who have been patronizing the place a lot longer than I have.
Since the races are scheduled for Sunday the 25th...
Just curious - how did you find out about it?
I'm wondering what kind of attendance numbers Northstar had this past year. As much as I enjoyed it, the turnout never seemed that great. Made me wonder if lift ticket sales were good enough to even cover expenses.
That really blows. I just started feeling comfortable doing small drops, and the easier parts of double black diamonds, resulting in the investment of even more cash into some protective DH gear.
Is Mammoth is the only other chairlift option that's even remotely close?
I'm hoping to...
I raced an SV from 1999-2001. Fun bike! I forgot how much fun they were until two different guys let me ride their racebikes a couple months ago at a trackday. They are just so much more useable on the street, as they actually make more power than most 600s up to around 7000-8000 rpm.
I...
If you have enough aggression to do DH stuff, it's probably just a matter of time until you're doing trackdays on a street bike :) Fun stuff, but it has a hefty price tag.
I dunno - they're kinda heavy, with a lot of plastic to scuff up for the inevitable first drop :)
The bang for the...
I was thinking about riding it today also, but I don't feel like getting soaked.
I'd almost put money on fallen trees obstructing the well-ridden singletrack. One such tree already got one of the short chutes I like to drop down, and that was after a storm nowhere near as strong as the...
Ah, you're down in San Luis Obispo. I was a motorcyclist more than anything else when I lived there.
The most appealing part of heading to Northstar (outside of the lifts) is the fact that my friend, a beginning mountain biker, is also looking to improve her skillset. I was looking forward...

Has anyone taken that Dirt Camp or the private lessons before?
The program up at Whistler, with its graduated drop offs and all, looks pretty sick. Logistics and finances make a Whistler trip difficult this year, and besides - I'd...
Last weekend, I was able to ride a new Jekyll (either the 2000 or the 3000) at China Camp. I fell in love with it. For the type of riding I do, it just seemed perfect - something I could grow with as my skills continue to grow.
Any reason I should dish out the additional 800 or so dollars...
