That's always true. But (1) you will know that vehicle inside out, which most buyers can't say (making DIY improvements and field repairs a bigger challenge) and (2) particularly in your case, you've got a truly unique vehicle, which counts for something. Which reminds me, it's been a bit seen...
A finger usually works but next time try sticking a shop rag, sponge, or piece of foam in there before re-installing the bolt. Usually works great to hold that nut in place until the threads engage sufficiently. :thumb:
This is true for any sort of trailer, yes, but also a Sprinter or other camper van, RV, slide-in camper, whatever. Pretty much every option includes a bunch of equipment and systems that will wear out, need maintenance, etc. Like many I find it generally worth it for the convenience and comfort...
Guess it's off to hell with me! You don't even need the microwave. All you need is a pan and a lid (or foil). Right back to crispy on the bottom and melty on top.
Prediction: They don't care about gas money and they have *way* more fun having all their toys with them and sleeping in their own bed than they would by stuffing too much crap into a small car (and still not having everything they want) and paying for the privilege to stay in a series of shitty...
Scary to think about, isn't it? Can't even imagine her chain of thought as it went from a seemingly silly thing then got worse and worse...
Also, it's my understanding that windows on lots of cars these days may be strong enough that most of those emergency window breaker hammer dealios won't...
A few different articles on the interwebs make it sound like a deadly combination of her accidentally putting the car in reverse due to poor design issues (that Tesla knows about), an inability to escape the vehicle when it hit the water (again, potential design flaws), and possibly a slow...
How often and where are you diving that you want your own scuba gear? I've been certified for years and but don't go often enough to justify the cost, space, imminent obsolescence, etc. I own a mask, snorkel and fins but rent everything else.

You're just debating theoretical aspects at this point. No, just because I may be over-braked in the rear does not mean my front brake is inadequate.
I misunderstood your earlier comment, which appeared to say just that.
I think this where I (and others) just disagree. Call it "extreme" if you want to be dramatic, but yes we adapt. And personally I don't want to self-handicap by lowering rear brake performance based on a desire to...
Not trying to convince you of anything, you do you.
All else being equal, even it's true a smaller rotor might dissipate heat better, won't it also absorb more in the first place? And isn't that where you get issues with fluid temperature, friction loss, etc. (experienced as fade), especially...
I'll take a weight penalty for more power/less effort, particularly on long sustained descents. So I ride 200mm front and rear on trail/enduro bikes (and 220/200 on my ebike). I don't remember ever thinking my brakes had too much power or not enough fade, but the opposite is definitely true...
