Figured it out after the second Motion control cartridge blew in the same exact spot. The oil level in that MC chamber is 2" higher than it should be. I kinda took it for granted that the oil heights would be to "spec" on a new fork, guess not... It's fixed now.

So I tore appart the MC and found a defective seal. Now I just need to find a new one. Its the conical shaped one at the top of the motion control, it was assemble poorly and a portion of the lip on the seal was folded upward. The seal now has a tear in it. I know this is a warranty issue...

So I just got this fork and two rides into it she starts leaking oil. The oil is comming from the seal between the low speed compression and the top cap (24mm head). I have a feeling that the oil in the top right leg may be more than required. One, its leaking and Two, The last 1.5-2" travel...

jesus lordy...what is up with the gas prices?

It takes a lot of acreage. :) I dont remember the figures, but if the US wants to switch all diesel to BD, we can say "good bye" to food thats grown in the US. Do some searching on Algea as a source of BD, quite interesting.

    Gotta love tiny apartments

i absolutely HATE appartments! three bikes, a motorcycle, double decker tool box, bookshelves, couches, there is really no room. It wouldnt be so bad if I could just hack out my appartment and move it out to a piece of property somewhere. I cant stand the neighbors. Rampaging children next...

    Interesting neighbors....

This Thread is Worthless Without Pics

Welcome to the club! I had a bucket handle tear in my meniscus back in 99. Bend the knee too much and it would lock. It would take days to straighten out. I walked on it for 3 mos. (bent). Much physical therapy was in order- I had no symmetry what so ever, mainly the result of hobbling...

From what I hear you can actually use the head lock. Just thread it into that lower piece (provided the bolt is correct length/thread).

    Rhino Line Swingarm

Cut the outer strip of an old tube bout 1'' wide and wrap it super tight begining at the chainring and continue the wrap to the drop out. Cut to length and you can get away with using one or two zip ties. hasnt failed me yet, and it looks clean.
