    yeah most be something like air in the lines or bad oil. i have never had any fade from mine and i ride some pretty steep fast stuff and it has to slow my 260 lbs self down.

    why would to want a full steel cass?? the ones with the alum. carriers are much lighter and stronger. i'm with you if you are only talking about the teeth of the cass. my favor cass are the sram pg990 and the shimano xt

    just another note on open bath forks. i'm pretty sure every fork that rockshoxs has made after sram bought them is a closed system. i think pretty much the only manufacture that still uses an open design is marzocchi and that might have changed with their last version of forks
