Whatcha talkin bout willis. Is that a little prejudice I'm sensing? If so, remind me not to ride with you.
Good to hear, I hope to get down there soon.
Anyone riding the dirt jumps in the Clairemont area? Down one of the many canyons. Looks like a sweet bmx/hardtail spot, and maybe a full squish if you've got the huevos.
Would you happen to be visiting vtjim? I just saw his post. Anyhow, I'm not aware of any places in San Diego that rent decent quality mtn bikes. You looking for DH or XC?
I'd say it's worth it, just start from the steel bridge off Campo Road (Old 94). Take the 94 to the end, then right on Campo Rd and another right where you see the bridge in the trees.
Did you try to access from the campgrounds or the steel bridge? I couldn't imagine it would be closed from the bridge as that is quite a ways from the hwy.
Anyone riding in the P.B. area? I was scouting around, lets just say, north of Grand, and came across a small ladder drop and some old jumps. This place has some potential and appears to be okay for riding as there is legal accessible gateways.

Was there yesterday and the ranger chick was turning riders away, saying it's national forest land, private property, tribal land, blah blah blah. We got there early enough to get a ride in, but had some problems going back to the top to retrieve the other truck. Luckily she let us through...
What up B? Still riding the Bullit? I moved back to San Diego a few months back and have been jonesing for some jumps like the whoops. Gonna have to make a trip up there sometime...

That's seems a little excessive. My 1st knee surgery required the same ordeal, 2 screws to hold in the new ACL ligament. They could have stayed in forever, but I snapped it again, so they took them out and used a different method. Who am I to say though since I'm no doc and it's a different...
