they "had" one a couple of years ago. Me, little Adam and Zach were the only ones who showed up so they cancelled it... I don't think there was really any snow there either.
Run the brake lever to the inside of the shifter? I run mine that way, works great. I get one finger on the very end of the lever at the 'hook' (GRC's work really well for this).
Thanks for the pics Sean, for those of us who had to work all weekend. Looks like some fun ****. I spy an o.g. XXL jersey in there - good stuff. Thug life!
waywayanda was something like $5 a person. Really cheap. No alcohol allowed and you have to sit thru a lecture about how to not get eaten by a bear. Last time we were there we did alright keeping the beer on the d/l and it was cool; we definitely got rowdy. Chris I wouldn't worry about the...
the fittings for the new style levers are pretty different; the 755 fittings definitely won't work. No more banjo at the lever. I dunno what makes Saint more expensive but I sure as **** wouldn't pay extra for the paint... Deore is A-okay in my book.
haha, holy **** that dude is lame.
XXL fo life bitches! Steve, save that pic, it's the only one I've ever seen of you on a podium. We can use it in next year's resume...
oil leak - get a new O-ring for where the cartridge pops thru the top cap, and grease it up when you install it. I replaced mine with something I got out of an assorted o-ring kit, it works fine (i.e. it's not necessarily something you have to get from marz.)
clunking - ignore it, or call up...
I ran Kendas for a year and flatted virtually EVERY single time I rode them. It was unreal. Pinch flats at up to 40 psi, and big casing rips/punctures when run tubeless. They drove me ****ing insane, and had 2 race runs toasted b/c of flats (one pinch, one big sidewall rip).
I'm not a hack...
just show up in the morning on race day/day before if there's a practice day, register at the bottom of the hill, ride. It's not the most organized sport or anything, you can just pretty much show up and get it done.
