If he's talking about the low speed compression knob, I don't see how that could've broken off during shipping.
I've known of cases where the knobs have fallen off, during rides, forever lost. Case 1, me. Case 2, my roommate.
Certainly ask for pics of the broken area. IMO, all I smell is...
size is same as the roco, 8.5" x 2.5"
I would also consider a part out for just the frame + both shocks + fork/headset + seatpost for say 1k. Keep in mind, the roco rc is new. I took it around my parking lot to see if the shock bolts were torqued too tight.

yea, from the lift, you got a few choices, go down on the right, or head left and ride a little ways, heading towards the monster park area and ride trails along there.

Even at speed, those are pretty easy to spot. But, I do see issues with some of the green boards that span some of those little ditches, I've seen bolts sticking out of those a few times that the tires and rims don't approve rolling over.
On the basin side, start him off on trail D. When the fireroad makes the curve back to the left and links into the lower trails, after A, B and C, keep going straight and D will be on the left.

Mine fell off the day I was breaking it in a few months ago and my new roommate had his fall off when he was testing it on an urban romp.
I'm not really mad, since I can still adjust the low...
