    Polygamy Porter is good. I'm on the dissertation comitee of a student in Utah, and she gave me a Polygamy shirt (share some with the wives!) and some beer as a thank-you for flying out to SLC for a meeting. Of course I brought her some higher potency NY stuff when I went out there.

    Light reading? Try the 3 books of the Baroque Cycle, by Neal Stephenson. Historical fiction that will make you laugh. He's a great writer, but the books are dense. It's like Umberto Eco takes on the Royal Society, circa 1670's

    My bike shop has a web address. When it comes to bike parts, I'll take cheap prices over cool atmosphere any day, and I shop accordingly. Perhaps it's just that all the local shops I've been to pretty much suck.
