    my new man gadget

    Very nice! I just got a White Wing thrower. Man is it a nice step up from my old in-ground thrower. Does that one throw doubles? Thats the only thing I do miss.

    Yea, I know some pro photographers that love the D70 just for the flash sync. I have a Sigma 18-50 2.8 Macro DC OS HSM (discontinued now) on it 95% of the time. Its a great lens, even beyond macro shots. It shoots my pre-VR Nikon 80-200mm 2.8 really nicely. It focus' much better than it did...

    I was hopeful for the Pens but I knew they have been big underdogs for a while. I'm pretty happy how far they actually got. Fleury gets team MVP. They wouldn't have even made playoffs with out him. I'll be curious to see who they keep for next season. Throw Sid and Malkin in with this...

    D7000

    I picked up a D7000 a couple days ago. I havent had a lot of time with it but it feels like a huge step up from my D80. Ill post some pictures and maybe a video once I get some time.

    Earthquake: Christchurch NZ

    I visited CHCH last December. It is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been or will be. My heart breaks for the city and its people. All the friends I have there have checked in and are okay. Though most are now considered refugees and have moved a couple hours out of town.

    That was a tough game. But the Flyers were surely the better team. Hard to stay upset with Malkin. He had the only two goals but also lost us the game with that dumb penalty that the Flyers scored on. It will be fun to watch them play in the playoffs.

    I'm a little nervous about this game. Its already a big rivalry, throw in the fact that the flyers could end a 12 game win streak and take over first and it should be a pretty physical game. The way the Pens have been playing, they have been hard to stop. Lets hope they keep it rolling!

    Big night last night. Pens beat the devils to win 10 in a row. The Blue Jackets win in a SO to end the Stars 6 game win streak. And the Leafs beat the Caps in a SO. The pens own the league with 40 points now!
