I would say these were too long. If the track was entirely made of snow without any ice underneath I would rather go for mud tyres such as Michelin Mud 3 or something similar. In my opinion, metal spikes do not provide any benefits where the ice is not involved.
Back on topic, though.
Enjoy...
It has been a while since your post but I wanted to ask for your long term feedback regarding x-fusion H3 LT shock. I am quite interested in getting one but there is not that much feedback/long term reviews available online.
So, what do you think about it?
None IMHO
Mega strong, looks awesome, lighter than Shimano Saint setup, lifetime warranty, what else could you ask for?
I have them on my Jedi and I am absolutely happy with choosing them.
What he said about two places was that the bike could be picked up in person. He seems to be willing to post the bike, but I reckon it only concerns the UK only.
Eastwood, it is such a cool video, it is nice to see people all over the world enjoying the sport.
Who is that blondie in that video? See reminds me my friend from Moscow I studied with few years back.
This is certainly the UK thing. You would not be able to coast all the way down without chain - UK tracks are way tighter and twistier than, say, track in the French alps. I see the point in keeping momentum by using less brakes, though. I must try it some day.
Basically, I spent some time thinking about what would be my deciding factors and those above seem to be crucial. I am not really bothered with weight, simply because if needed at races, I would simply chuck it into the booth and job done.
