This is awesome. Gives me all sorts of hope and ideas for things to come on the full acre plus of space I have to build trails on in our new backyard. Just need to plant my forest of eucalyptus so in 5 years I have a bunch of trees....
Here are some actual pics of the Fresno jumps. They are in a big city park called Woodward Park. They were initially built by some city employees, basically bmxers who knew someone and have been subsequently laid off, never completely finished and pretty much maintained by myself and a few...
Whew, good to know. My faith in humanity can be restored.
And hey, next time you drive by on your way to Woodward, let me know. I can't ride the jumps but it would be fun to shoot you guys huckin yer meat.
There are no trees, so I guess it's technically not "trails" but hey, it's all I've got to work with, and, it's city built and sanctioned.

Ok, this might be a dumb question, but what is the difference between the 15mm 32 Float and the 15 mm 32 Fit, besides that the Float come in 150mm and the Fit 100?
Wouldn't it be easier to just get the 100 and then not worry about having to lower it? Or is there some benefit to using the...
Um, the 5D might be the worst choice possible for action photography. I'm not real familiar with Canon but do know people who get great stuff with their 40D's so I would imagine the 50D would work well. Personally, given what you want to do with the camera, I would go with the D300 plus...
So this is where everybody ran off to. Freaking solid work zach. Inspiration for my backyard, albeit on slightly smaller scale.
And dangit if westcoast and roamer aren't looking OLD. Assuring to know that I'm not too old to be playing in the dirt and jumping a bike at 32. Miss riding with...
