Looking to ride DG this weekend before the snow arrives. Anyone know if the bridge is back and if it can be shuttled? Any intel on trail conditions, things to know before you go?
I'm 185lbs, run mine in 8.5" mode with the short chainstay position on the G3's, have a CCDB, and run tires about 30psi. My spring is Ti, and sag is about 35% - mostly I ride Whistler.
I also have a carbon V10 that I run in the 10" mode (yes I have two bikes:thumb:).
I can tell you that...
OK so some facts about my situation because you asked:
- Chad and Johnny at Intense are good guys and worked for me.:thumb:
- my original G3 triangle cracked drive side by the pivot. They've since made it stronger and no longer have the problem. I've been told.
- I told intense I would take...
Called directly and I talked to one of the two warranty guys who was cool, but unable to help. At this point I told them to send me a new frame altogether as they owe it to me. The best they offered was an off color rear after 6 weeks, or I can wait two more for the color I asked for 6 weeks...
I have a 951 too and I got mine to ride after a few minor adjustments:
- Back the bottom out all the way
- back out both compressions
- run 30% sag
- adjust rebound to your liking, and have the low speed rebound two clicks higher than the high speed.
it will sing.
I deal with groups like the Sierra Club in my 9-5, and I can't believe now in my 5-9. I know the main character for the Sierra Club and it's a joke. Oppose just to oppose - just because anything but a 90 story skyscaper that packs us in the urban core is bad.
They have no clue.
Pics are great! Like the bro said, the little guy took 10 runs and was bummed there wasn't more that night. Thanks for the effort, the pics, the timer and especially the prizes.
i went through the exact same pain you're going through now, and I just ended it 3 says ago with a specialize bighit grom. my son has a hardtail, with 26/26 for a slack angle and it simply does not work as well as it may sound. those hard tails beat them up, and the little ones dont have the...
Black frame and 06 white boxxer is my setup and it looks, and rides fast. Be ready for the speed you're about to put out - just from the new equipment because you're not personally faster - yet. My last bike was a fantastic, popular, raved about bike and I switched to the Sunday. I was faster...
I and my boys would ride Tiger year round, AND would help if needed to keep it open. Is there another trail that is as close as Tiger, and gives one the burn, if they chose? We race that trail up, and down - the road is a joke. 40 MPH - any monkey can do that on a road. Stand back 'cause...
i've pedaled both bikes, and ridden both bikes and an M3 does not pedal even close to a Sunday. The new vs. used is a no brainer. M3 is a fantastic bike, but in the end the Sunday will take it, assuming your not a plower. If you're a plower, put a 40 on an M3, if not put a WC on the Sunday.
Pinch flats are a reality of MTB, but not a result of poorly selected trail material. :stosh: Sure, that may be what DNR gave us, but has anyone asked otherwise? I saw a great gal who was just starting to get into MTB take a spill because of those rocks. I can't tell you how bad she hoped to...
i rode the MF saturday 9:00am, first tracks from the tippity top to the bottom. allot of it is hike-a-bike because the vegetation is so overgrown cause no one is ever on that trail. there are so many creek crossings, and up and down following river grade that the trail is uphill both ways...
you need to determine your riding style. The frame sets alot of it, but so does how you build up the bike. I like a little more freeride and I'm more into the down direction - I run a Z1FR. If you're a climber and don't need the sus go with a lighter, less travel fork. It's up to you. First...
