    Marzocchi 380 C2R2 Ti & Moto C2R Shock

So just got my 380's delivered today, there is in fact a second spring with them, anyone know what it is? Pretty sure it's steel, and the plastic has green paint on it.. hoping it's a firm? No info at all on what it is..

    Marzocchi 380 C2R2 Ti & Moto C2R Shock

Well I've gone the other way. i've ordered a firm. After the x-firm I had, I'd rather be under sprung than over sprung if it's wrong, atleast I'll be able to ride while i wait on a new spring if it goes that way!

    Marzocchi 380 C2R2 Ti & Moto C2R Shock

Well, I think I think what you think, but with different oil levels, damping and adjustment capabilities, was just wondering if this allowed any different parameters on spring choice before I go drop another $100 on a spring.. thanks.

    Marzocchi 380 C2R2 Ti & Moto C2R Shock

Possibly a dumb question, but if I had an x-firm spring in my 2010 888 evo's and it was too hard (despite being the right spring for my weight according to Marzocchi) would it be any different in the 380? Or shall I go for the firm spring i was teetering on putting in my 888's before I sold them?

    Marzocchi 380 C2R2 Ti & Moto C2R Shock

Hey kids, still no good reviews of the 380 that I can find, beyond 'first impression' type stuff, anyone here got any feedback or can point me in the direction of some?

    Evil Undead

Quick question. I fitted me 83mm gxp bb yesterday. The internal plastic sleeve doesn't reach both sides, it comes up short by 5mm or so. So essentially anything that gets in there has a void to make it's way directly into the frame through. Is this an issue? Have any of you encountered this and...

yep mate that's me, I'll be riding it in Vic through summer and a few VHS races and baw baws opening weekend race. Pumped to get it! Yours looks bloody lovely! It's a shame to hear the negative stuff. I have gone down this road largely based on the experiences of a mate who's been on Evil since...

    Evil Undead

So, after several years on 2 Session88's, which I love and am sad to see go, I am joining the Evil family and am in the process of ordering my Undead with Kevin at the moment. At 5'11 and a half and 200lbs (ish), I've gone for a large with RC4. Can't wait! I run a 500lbs spring on my Sesh, and...

    Marzocchi 888 RC3 Evo V.2 Fork 2012 tuning question

So what, no advantage in updating from 2010 ti to 2012 non Ti? I'm not fussed about weight, and the new ones are almost the same price as I paid for the 2010s so there's almost no money difference, but if its a step backwards there's not much point huh...

    Marzocchi 888 RC3 Evo V.2 Fork 2012 tuning question

I am around 90kg (210?), had the stock medium in my 2010 RC3 Evo Ti's which felt ok with an extra 80cc in the spring side and full compression but still on the softer side and no real option for ramping up the mid and end stroke which I wanted. Bought the x firm spring and swapped it straight...

2010 Marzocchi 888 Evo tuning thread

so, anyone that gives a ****.. I now have an x-firm spring, have the preload 2 clicks in from nothing, same on the compression, rebound is 3 clicks from full, and dropped my oil level in the spring side from 200ml to 100ml.. wow. Such a better ride compared to running the standard spring and...

2010 Marzocchi 888 Evo tuning thread

UDI, I'm with you mate, i'm currently chasing a firm spring. Certainly not thinking NSM's little trick will fix things for me with my current spring, but maybe with a firm spring it would add a little extra ramp up right near the end to resist bottoming harshly.. NOT having a good time trying ti...

2010 Marzocchi 888 Evo tuning thread

I have gone to 190cc of 5w. What you have done is what I'm going to try next, but still it seems like a firmer spring would be the right solution. How much preload are you running?

2010 Marzocchi 888 Evo tuning thread

Ok guys so here it is.. basically (here in oz atleast) it seems hard to come across Ti springs, so I'm a bit hesitant to trade/sell mine off before I know for certain it's the wrong spring for me. Currently running the 2010 stock Ti spring, I'm right around 200 lbs, running it at full preload. I...

^^^^^This. Also IH8Rice, I've heard the fox springs do fit but can bind, have you looked into this? Might wanna give it a look before taking the plunge..(no pun intended)
