tmx- hope you can make it down to my camp!
we live next to a world class surf spot called Mal Pais (or Santa Theresa). They have tons of surf camps there. That would make a great trip, and you wouldn't have to travel with a bike or a board
Hey everyone
I'm running 3 day, 4 night all-inclusive mountain bike skills camps down here in the jungle, starting this summer. Morning clinics working stunts/riding and afternoon ziplines, surfing, snorkeling, waterfalls, etc.

Thanks...
Speaking of monkeys, anyone up for a trip to Costa Rica?

Hey girls
Anyone up for an all-inclusive mountain bike skills camp in costa rica? Zip-lines, surfing, wild animal parks, waterfalls... Just bring your helmet, shoes, and sense of adventure. I've lived here for 3 years now, and this place is unbelievable! I'm also putting on all-women's camps...
If you can do 6 foot drops, you'll be fine at Bootleg. We don't even really work on drops at the clinic- mostly cornering, braking, etc. We spend more time working on techniques (on relatively flat ground or a mellow slalom track), then doing scary downhill runs. Although by the third day...
Yeah, we'll be there from Friday to Sunday. Maybe you can talk Gene into a one day clinic (?).
Also, I'd highly recommend a full on DH bike for Bootleg. It's rocks on more rocks, and even the big bikes get flats when you open it up.
Adios

Hey downhillers- Treat yourself to a downhill clinic next week at Bootleg Canyon near lovely Las Vegas. If you haven't been there, I'd say it's one of the best downhilling spots in the country. Gene Hamilton and I are coaching for the weekend. See his website at www.betterride.net. Come on...
The Gravity Dropper works!! I used it for the U.S. Nationals and won the pro event for the super-D. Only practiced on it for about 2 minutes the day before...
Definitely recommended

Hey girls
I'm the guest coach for a downhill clinic in Boulder City, NV next weekend (Jan 7-9). If anyone's interested, we have two more spots open. Check it out! Betterride.com
try Cuesta Ridge, above Cal Poly college- some pretty rocky stuff up there
also, a little more mellow and scenic would be Montana De Oro state park in Los Osos
Anyone riding downhill, cross country, jumps or motos in the SLO area this week? Or next week? Does anyone even live here that's out of school?
Free Luna bars here...
