Haro X3 Headset compatibility? (zero stack???)

Alright, so an internal and zero stack are used to describe the same thing? I take it there is no way to change to a normal headset other than buying / making some spacers. Any suggestions for decent internal headsets? Right now I have an extremely worn out WTB Inner Peace and I'm getting...

Haro X3 Headset compatibility? (zero stack???)

Sorry for the n00b question, but does anyone know what type of headset the Haro X3 uses (its a '03 if that metters). I am on the verge of ordering a FSA Pig DH pro, but I have read that it might take a zero stack headset? Can someone explain the differences to me between the 2 and if they are...

    Tennesee/Nashville locals

CHeck out Higher Ground in Franklin (south of Nashville). Its not DH, but they are adding some jumps and what not along the trails. Theres some decent stuff to play around on out there. Go to MTBR.com and look at the directions there.

    Rackamendations?

Got my Rocky Mounts Lariat SLX and disc adapter for under $75 from www.orsracksdirect.com . I am extremely happy with the RM Lariat and the SLX model is nice if you run wide tires and/or a bigger bike.

Trailriding with a 05 Big Hit FSR???

I'll let you know in a couple weeks. I'm in the middle of buying an '04 Comp to replace my Haro X3. Its gonna be a bit heavier, but BigHits are just so much fun to ride. I think the slightly challenges on uphills will be well worth the trip down. :thumb:

Trying to decide on fork for BigHit (entry-level DH)

I really like the looks of the DC Shiver as well. I have been looking around and there are infact quite a few in my price range. Think this fork got bumped up near the top of the list. Only downfall I see now is its a bit heavier than the Super T. Guess I would eventually adapt to it.

Trying to decide on fork for BigHit (entry-level DH)

I'm not talking counting grams light, but a few pounds upfront can make a difference when going over stuff.

Trying to decide on fork for BigHit (entry-level DH)

I am in the process of purchasing an '04 BH Comp to replace my Haro X3. I want to start getting into downhill (live less than an hour from Windrock), but I still like to do fast single track and rocky trails. I do have some uphills (yea, yea on the BigHit...I'll survive :thumb: ), but...

    think this is legit?

My typical mindset is to not bid on anything from anyone with zero feedback. If it looks remotely fishy, I'll steer clear. If you are really, really interested though, contact him and try to get someone to look at it, etc. Everyone does start out w/ zero feedback, so it could be legit...
