Just for reference, last time I had a 26" bike I ran 25-12 and spun out way to easy. I bumped up to 28-12 with my latest build and it feels much better. Personally, going to a 30 would probably be fine as well, but the 28 seems good. Honestly, if you haven't bought yet, don't go as low as 25...
Guys, it really is violet, the lighting adds a bit more yellow to it making it look more pink. I'm doing it a disservice, I should have corrected the pics, but I didn't make the time. My apologize to Eric, cuz the pics don't do the color justice. Check out the Deity site for a more accurate showing.
Just got it built up ...
Deity Streetsweeper frame
Fox 32 Float 140 RLC (dropped to 80mm)
Deity Bars, bbrkt, clamp, cranks
Thomson post and stem
Odyssey pedals and seat
Atomlab Pimplite wheelset (15mm adapters on ft, bolt on on the rr)
Avid XO Brake
Intense microknobbie tires

So just from experience how much air and how much compression/rebound is solid for riding dirt. I used to have my Argyle pumped to 200lbs, but I dont think the fox stuff works the same way (I'm 175lbs, btw).
Thanks in advance ...
I apologize for the jack, but if any of you lads are looking to get a new 24" frame, wheels, or fork, I'm piecing out my Tonic. Everything is in great shape, I just need to find a home for it with someone who can abuse it like it deserves! Email me at t1maglio@yahoo.com
Thanks guys. I put an email into Zodiac, and I was kinda wondering about the Hope ones, if they are the same or slightly larger I could handle shaving them down a little. I'll do some hunting around with the machine shops around here as well, once I have the fork in my hands that might help as...
So Profile doesn't have anything. Thoughts, guys? Is there another companies adapters that would work?
I feel like someone should have some sort of frame of reference on this subject, am I the only one dealing with it (or am I the only one who doesn't want to get a new ft wheel)
Maybe this has been discussed, but can I just replace those little aluminum guys with something so I can run a 15mm? If so who makes'm and where can I get'm?
I was actually there and I'll just comment on a couple things to clarify. Definitely not a flat venue, the site was weird and though they built up the starting hill like crazy it definitely had elevation change before the dirt was there, random concrete platforms were also on the site that got...
16v,
I kinda come from the opposite direction and though I raced MTBs for a long time I got into BMX and put in the time that way and then was really bummed every time I got on a bike with wheels bigger then 20". Going to a 24" tire was a good comprimise. The wheels aren't as large so they...
Might have a line on a hook up on one and since I'm riding a FG I need something below 4" (I think my Argyle is at roughly 2"). Anyway, saw it mentioned on the Blkmrkt site as well so I figured I'd ask if you guys have an inside line.
Thanks!
I posted this up last year, but it worked really well. I was gone to Denver for a week, packed all my clothes over my bike, there was absolutely no issue.

Aww, well now when you guys travel out here we can hang out! Not to mention if you come when its not winter we can ride real dirt outside as well! I'm so pumped!
BTW, not sure if it will happen but coming to NY sometime this summer might be in my plans, I will definitely look you up if I do.
