My friend used a DHX air, and we could never get good small bump and big hit absorption at the same time, it was either one or the other. I however, have ridden 3 roco air shocks, ROCO R on my compulsion, and a ROCO WORLD CUP on my Evil Revolt, and one on my Giant Faith (2011). All 3 times the...
Well, I'm deciding to build up my old 2009 compulsion again. The issue is, I took the old fork off of it, took it to Provo with me (I'm from Nevada, attending college in Provo), and when I got there, realized I forgot to take my crown race off. I removed it at a shop, threw it in my backpack...
Thanks for the replies.... I've spread the word every place I can think of, and am scouring online selling places all the time.
Clarification....
I know I made a mistake, yes I learned it the hard way. My commuting bike had a flat, and my art class is about an hour. I thought "I'll ride my...

because i feel like crap. I just want to sit here and do nothing.
----IF this thread is in the wrong place, can someone tell me where to move it to?----
Got outta my art class today (I'm at BYU btw) only to discover My lock had been cut, and my baby, my 2008 Rocky Mountain Slayer SS was...
Some guy on pinkbike an I are trading frames... my Rocky Mountain Slayer SS for his Banshee Wildcard. We are also trading a few other things like cranks and derailleurs... etc. I live in Utah, and he lives in Florida, so how do we trade? Do we both just ship our frames at the same time and hope...
I just swapped out the coil on my old RM Slayer SS for an X-Fusion O2, just to see how it felt... I'lll be upgrading to a higher end airshock pretty soon. I thought this would be the one bike for me that a coil felt better on, but I was wrong....
I've now run air v coil shocks on a Felt...
oh sweet Julius. Had one of those at my spot back in Reno that got plowed. Already planned on making a few of those. A few small rhythm ones with small gaps, and a big one or two down the trail. I love those things, but in Reno we just call them berm jumps... I like shark fun better.
Heres...
I'm new to Utah as well, but have found a good crew and already know a lot of good spots. I'm in the Provo Area, and there's a lot down here. There's some good stuff in Salt Lake (some super sick dirt jumps spots) and a lot of good stuff scattered around, like in Draper and such. Don't know...
What's a shark fin?
So I've been thinking about it more, and I think wood features might not be the best, although we will probably still build a boner-log feature. I thought I could go get started this weekend, but another snow storm hit us, so It will be a while.
I have a good line idea...
Hey guys! I finally have a place better than Nevada to build some trails, somewhere with some elevation loss to it, so I can build a decent length trail. I found a sick spot with a little bit of stuff built, and have been asking around, and found the guys that built it, and learned the the area...
I want to see it. your favorite single feature you have ever built. Note: I said favorite feature... not biggest or coolest, but your personal favorite. It can be your favorite because its small, fun, easy, huge, ya know. I just want to see what you guys like to ride, and what you build.
Rules...
Over Winter break I went back to Nevada, and got up to Reno a few times to help Jim 'Hacksaw' Severt dig at his dirt jump spot. Can't post pics or details, but man... that place is heaven on earth. There's so many lines and options, I could spend all day there, and still not hit every option...
I'm also a ridemonkey newb, but I love building. I live in a small town in Nevada, with only 1 small hill within abour 45 mins of my house, so it's all I can build at. I like freeride and downhill mostly, but do build dirtjumps when I can. Heres some of the stuff I've built in my hometown. None...
Didn't have time to read the whole thread, so I'm not sure if this has been covered, but I just saw this on my Facebook, and found it really interesting.
I got started on MTBR a few years ago as I got into Downhill. Mtbr seemed to be the main biking forum, so that was a natural first choice for me. The forum started out pretty great (lots of support, good comments, educated responses) but over time it went downhill. Now there's tons of little...
