definitely was back in may/june of this year when we had that first hot weekend. it was so utterly hot, after every run we spent 10 min hydrating. it was fine on the lift, and riding, but as soon as you stopped the heat caught up.
You do realize how much of pain it is to lug a cooler, or any large amount of water down the parking lot, AND OVER A BRIDGE...and then more. to get there...?
Its a reasonable request...should have taken a poll at the beginning of the season: water fountain at base or another huge box (reality...
yea the lifties are way too busy play fighting and giving riders a hard time about ticket placement...
i bet the kid working the concsession stand near the lift would support a water fountain so he doesnt have to keep filling cups of water all day...
Reminds me of the first "hot" day of summer this season...sometime in the afternoon we happen to be on the lift passing by phantom and a guy going too slow nosed it off the edge. Landed on his back but got right up. Dont know if its the heat that caused it but it can make you not think straight...
Maybe they will switch all of their bikes over to their in house brand of suspension...way to ruin the enduro line....
Thats noble, they have some good riders to test and engineer. Their input must not be taken seriously or something....
I'm baffled. Are there any rules for the water park visitors who ride the lift?
These are designated bike trails, where people are PAYING to ride a specific set on private (?) property. This isn't the local trail system with many user groups, its a BUSINESS. I'm really curious to hear what...
well now everyone dislikes you.
i'm getting some good vibes from you, not many people feel good about themselves from sandbagging an intro class. Intro (introduction) should be a one time deal dude...sounds like a "first timer" class. you live in the same town as diablo...you should be semi pro...
Its not about knowing "every last inch of terrain" its about having a nice website to showcase your business. Shows you put effort into it...although smaller the experience as a whole at highland is a hell of a lot better than diablo. Whether its the welcoming staff or presence that says we want...
Nothing like it? How? Is it not the same basic idea? Long run full of tables/doubles etc. Its the same concept, with size difference.
Intrawest owns both, whistler has "gravitylogic" and diablo has "parklogic"
No, and no one said they are trying to copy whistler. But to say "diablo isnt like whistler" and "they are trying to be different" is crazy when pretty much all this slopestyle business being incorporated into a MTB lift mountain...most likely using (the success of) whistler as a gold standard.
