A bunch of us from the Chico State Cycling Team will be partying at Packer Saddle Friday and Saturday night. We have the same plans as you, ride N* Sat. and D-ville on Sunday. See you there!
Are you guys having the same old NORBA official? After 4 years I have seen him run over a racers bike, smoke weed, give way too many prayers and lecture us on safety way to much!
I say pop it. I had one under my big toe from a crash. I drilled through my nail to release the blood and junk. As someone said, don't be a pussy. If you keep it clean you wont get infected. If you dont want to pop it, get some mole skin and tape.
MBAction.com had something about a series champ in the DH races in an article on their site.

It says it in the middle just after when they talk about awards being handed out to the top 3.
When you first announced this series point system you said you were going to try and get some companies to help with some prizes and such. Any luck?
And thank you again for putting this together!
They have a roast every year.
It was really funny. But after a while I got tired of hearing about Tommy Lee and his pet, Andy Dick being gay, and annoyed by Courtney
Check it out....Hayes was bought out by management to create HB Performance systems. It also looks like HB bought Sun Ringle as well.

I never had any real problems with the timing at Northstar until this weekend. After both runs were completed, I looked at the times posted on the little house at the end of the course, and I was sitting in third. After doing a few fun runs (boondocks...f**k'n sweet) I came back to get my medal...
Beware....the forecast is calling for isolated thunderstorms in Tahoe and Truckee from Sunday to Tuesday. If the thunderstorms are near, they close the lifts. I am planning on being there one of those days as well.
It is very rocky. But it is my favorite place to ride. Make sure your brakes are working well and you can handle arm pump. There are trails for everyone there. They do have some ladder stunts, but nothing much. I highly recommend Northstar.
Trailhead Cyclery has a great selection of DH stuff from tires to pads. They are on the edge of San Jose and Los Gatos. http://www.trailheadcyclery.com/welcome.html. Plus they really know their stuff.
