2006 large Preston FR frame, silver. 4 to 5 inches of adjustable travel via Manitou Swinger 4-way (w/extra coils & BB). Great trail bike, well maintained, minor trail scratches and cable rubs. More bike info @ www.transitionbikes.com
The other problem with the Preston/Swinger setup, is that they don't make a heavier spring than a 650lbs (6.5x1.5). They claim that a 700or 800lbs. spring, because of the diameter of the coil, will hit the reservior on the shock. That was at least what they told me when I called Manitou and it...
Just like LargeXtraPaneer said, "no problems with wheels or any other services" from Universal Cycle. I have had two wheelsets built to order and they are rollin' strong (knock on wood).:)
Man those pics made my fingers hurt all over again! Next time I'm filling my camelback with SHC (special hot chocolate, with a kick!) . Thank again for the tour Mr. Cheese. I met up with Aaron on Sun and that boy was sore.
Ok, If you think Washington trails are so unsafe that you need to carry a gun at least take some safty courses. Please!
Today we went to ????? ???????? for a mid-day ride. Right at the trail head we heard a gun go off. It was right inside the timber line. After a while we went to check and...
--18 Days '04 season
--2-5 Nights per stay
--Condo "Stoney Creek N. Star" (We enjoyed this place the most because of value, location and comfort.)
--We usually share the condo with 4-6 people.
--Bike security and lack of parking are the two biggest issues that need improvement.
You are a super stealthy rider! I was there at the same time, but I did not see you till I got back to the truck.
I do have light to ride at night but it's not really my thing. So I just try to ride as much as I can before it gets dark. Why-O-Why do we need to spring forward and fall...
Pip was too busy, so I stepped in. Thank GEX for testing it. I hope it gets people fired up to build the rest of the line. Someone other than myself should take on this line. I think I'm going to start working on trails elsewhere (other than SST). This drop was a test to see if my shoulder can...
I guess we are all on the same page.
-Finish "work 'n progress"
-Perfect the old lines
-Work on more challenging lines
-Keep it safe
-No Split Butt Cheeks :D
I'll be out at SST riding today!
The SST Flow Park has progressed so far from it's original state. Obviously as riders get better they want bigger and faster jumps. However, as you mentioned, there are guidlines set by the City that need to be followed so we can keep what we have. Some individuals still must not get this...
We went out there today with shovels and a wheelbarrow......
Well to make long story short, walk the lines first!!! It's all good. I'll see you gals/guys out there tomorrow.
