My brother has a 113mm SigFR bottom bracket (with the extra lipped ISIS cup) on his Bullit. He also uses a Blackspire chainguide, so his bottom bracket width is increased by approx 3mm. His bottom bracket is designed to work with either 68 or 73mm bottom brackets, so he has no problems at all...
What two piece aluminium piece? If you mean the shock mount at the front, it has always been 1 piece. On early models it was flat with a slot for adjustment. On later models it was raised with two sets of two holes (four holes, hope that makes sense?).

You can use an 8.5x2.5 shock for 7-inches and still use the shuttle.
I can understand not using the shuttle if you're fitting really long shocks for greater than 7-inches, but not 7 and no shuttle. Strange (to me anyway).

Also let us know what its like for holding air. My 5th Element was pretty lame for that, despite having been upgraded and custom tuned.
I'm also running a Bullit, and have both a Fox RC (custom tuned by Mojo UK) and a 5th Elephant custom tuned by Tim Flooks.
My Fox is the original that came on the frame, so its a 7.785x2.25.

The Risse/Go-Ride crowns appear to be completely flat, where as the pic of the Marz crown shows them to be slightly arched (looks it to me at least).
