    2006 FOX Vanilla RC2 Feedback?

I've recently purchased the 06 36 VanR - awesome product! Wickedly light for what it is, stiff and beefy. Quality is extremely high, which I was expecting. Also nice that they came with all springs, should I ever need to change them (or it, seeing as there is only one). Performance-wise they...

    Demo 8???

If it helps at all my Demo8 medium frame only with steel spring (450lbs) weighs: 5800g Thats approx 12 pounds. That was literally frame only. No headset cups, no bottom bracket, no seatpost.

    Anyone with 170mm 888R/RC?

Calling all owners of 170mm 888 forks! I'm thinking of buying some within the next few months, but I've got a question... The Marz site/manuals list the max axle-to-crown height as 575mm. I'm guessing thats with the crowns set to max height (you never know!). Whats the axle-to-crown...

    Bullit sizing???

Good choice on frame there :o) I'm about 5 foot 11 and a half, I ride a medium. I'm running 04 JrTs with a 60mm stem, but I'm going to swap it for a 70mm very soon. I reckon it'll be perfect then. My brother is near enough 6-foot dead on and he also rides a medium. He's slightly shorter...

    crank scrape on a Bullit

Very strange. I got the opposite... crank/swingarm impact on the non-drive side when using a chainguide. I've tried to help a bit in you're other thread (03 Bullit BB length & guide ?)

    03 Bullit BB length & guide ?

My brother has a 113mm SigFR bottom bracket (with the extra lipped ISIS cup) on his Bullit. He also uses a Blackspire chainguide, so his bottom bracket width is increased by approx 3mm. His bottom bracket is designed to work with either 68 or 73mm bottom brackets, so he has no problems at all...

differences between 03 and 04 bullit

What two piece aluminium piece? If you mean the shock mount at the front, it has always been 1 piece. On early models it was flat with a slot for adjustment. On later models it was raised with two sets of two holes (four holes, hope that makes sense?). Not all Bullit frames have 7-inches. It...

Romic shock dims for 7" bullit.

7inch and no shuttle? You can use an 8.5x2.5 shock for 7-inches and still use the shuttle. I can understand not using the shuttle if you're fitting really long shocks for greater than 7-inches, but not 7 and no shuttle. Strange (to me anyway).

    vp-free + DHX

Very interesting indeed! Nice shock, from what I've seen/learnt so far. Also let us know what its like for holding air. My 5th Element was pretty lame for that, despite having been upgraded and custom tuned.

    avalanche for bullit questions

I'm also running a Bullit, and have both a Fox RC (custom tuned by Mojo UK) and a 5th Elephant custom tuned by Tim Flooks. My Fox is the original that came on the frame, so its a 7.785x2.25. The 5th Elephant is an 8.5x2.5. Both shocks are suitable for the frame, it just depends where you...

    2005 marz 888 crown issue....

Any ideas how much lower the Marz crowns will be than stock? The Risse/Go-Ride crowns appear to be completely flat, where as the pic of the Marz crown shows them to be slightly arched (looks it to me at least). I hope these new crowns will be available world-wide, realistically. Not just...
