I was on a super secret mission with Bigfoot and Elvis to discover the location of Atlantis. Turns out Bigfoot can't swim.
Honestly I just haven't been riding my mountain bike so fell out of the loop a bit, its been so long since I was on my avatar still has a santa hat so that worked out...
Good news : I am alive
Bad news:
-its really cold out
-I still have a paper to write
-I still have three sets of assignments to grade
-half of my gutter fell off the roof and there is little sign my landlord will fix it anytime this century
-I'm procrastinating on RM when I need to be...
I thought Hellboy was the worst movie ever when I saw it, I paid nothing to see it and still felt I had been ripped off. Then I saw the actual worst movie ever created....

I think the oldest thing I have lying around is a pair of the old XTR M952 cranks that has to be from the mid-late 90's. The oldest thing on my bike are some specialized clipless pedals that came with a 2001 Stumpjumper I used to own. I think its time I get some new pedals.
Yeah they are a bit circuitous, I have had shipments from them pass through the city I am living in to go to a hub an hour and a half east of me just so I can wait an extra day for it to go out for delivery right back an hour and a half west again.

Never ordered from there but I used to go there a lot to get ideas of different things to get and compare prices to local stores, their prices always seemed pretty fair to me.
I've actually had number 3 on that list the alba scots pine ale, and I can concurr it was pretty awful. Mind you this is coming from somebody who regularly will take a colorado spruce needle and chew on it during a hike or while camping.
Upsides are the cheap housing market, downside I think can be the weather. Its not always the snow that gets me, its just the greys but after living in syracuse for 4 years which literally had 2 week spans where I dont recall seeing the sun once it doesnt seem quite so bad.
Really cool idea guys and a great use for something that was probably at best a wasted space before and at worst a hangout for bums and other shady characters.
The only experience I have with one is from a guy I ride with. He snapped it on the seat tube right above the weld close to the bb and that isnt the only case of that I have heard about. But trek was good and he got a new frame with little to no trouble I think.
