There is a huge differance in the 39 and 36. If the 39 is too easy then the 36 will be way too easy. 39/14 is about the same as a 44/16. If the 39 is too hard a 38 might be a better idea. You could also get a 13 tooth freewheel and rund the 36.

They did and Cedric was the only one to try at the big jumps at Sea Otter. If riders want stuff like that they need to help build the course, that way they can be ridden.
If this were such a great idea, why didn't stay around when Gary Fisher, Klien, or who ever it was had 1 1/4 on their frames? That had to have been stronger then. Why didn't it last?
