I hit 66 going down the back side of Rist Canyon in Fort Collins last weekend, my previous record was 63 on a different bike on a different road.
45 is my fastest on an MTB on dirt.
edit: I'm 230 lbs, so that helps, and the road is 12%, drops about 1500' in 1.5 miles.
Unbelievable, everytime I load my MTB, it rains. every single time!!! :mumble:
Not sure how quickly the trails around here dry.
I may try to hit the Backbone instead.
Any other suggestions? (That don't involve staring out the window and whining) :rolleyes:
