Hey there Monkey's
My family have just booked up to go to San Diego for 3 weeks this June, travelling from the UK, and I was wondering if any of you Stateside guys could enlighten me with some advice on where to go, what to see, and what to eat/drink?
We're going to be based in San Diego...

Hi All,
Also in the same boat, looking for two new tyres. Currently ride Michy Comp 16's (2.5" F and 2.2" R). I run these on 823's, tubeless with a bit of Stan's. I've ran this set up for years and love it, wear is great, grip is great, they mount up well tubeless and I've never lost any...
Thanks for the response,
re: to the shock, yeah clearance is an issue, rocco's also fit I've heard but you need to remove the rebound adjuster to get it in there. The shock is ok at the moment, but is soon going to be sent to TF tuned to get it de-valved, tuned and a Ti spring added.
re...

Yo, just got my 08 Fox 40's, would just like some info on settings for them and how people generally run them? i weigh around 170lbs kitted and like a relatively slow, soft fork. will the stock spring be ok? also, running saint brakes, anyone know the adapter needed and size of the rotor, heard...
just got a set of 08 40's, goin to fit them to the bike at weekend, anyone know a good base to start the compression settings on? i weigh around 170lbs fully kitted, will the stock spring be ok? i like to run the forks quite slow and nice and soft. not really a plower as i like to find lines...
sorry mate but his frame isnt the same as production, in the new dirt they have a review ( very long one ) on hill, his bike and his 07 season, it goes on to say that the bike hill rides is slacker, longer, and is closer to a large size than that of the medium, which is what they label it as...
yeah, its been replaced since then though, i was sitting down pedaling to a jump and i think i clipped a rock, finished the run and realised half the pedal was missing, they ran perfect for well over 2 yrs with not a thing done to them, then they snap. ah well.

thought i'd chip in with my Eight2Five, dont have a clue how much it weighs at the moment, but trying to keep it light. saving for a set of 40's, some xt cranks n lower rise bars, got 2" pro tapers on now, but would like something a little lower. After riding the bike at fort william and in the...
previous owner was a guy on here called freddy basset, little ride description. when i got the bike it had a 450 spring on it, which was ok but i felt that i wasn't getting the sag i wanted, changed this for a 400 n it's now spot on. it now has a good amount of sag, even with all the settings on...

hey, amazing bike mate, thinking of selling my DH-9 for one tbh. The UK needs no more than 7" of travel, what does it ride like with a Dorado up front as i own a set? How would a 7/8" travis be like on it for a possible upgrade. Any chance of a weight? Would you recomend this bike for DH, will...
