This is a pretty good read... http://forums.mtbr.com/showthread.php?t=317908
I have a 6.6 and I concur with SOME of what is said in the above thread, but I still like the bike. I guess it really depends on how it is built up and what you use it for. I have not ridden a 575 or a 5.5 so sorry...
I think it might have something to do with the emissions standards in California. Auto makers don't want to make 2 different versions of the same car anymore. IMO....
There are only 3 on that side. You might be confusing the bolt that holds the muffler hanger to the hitch. Drawtite included a long bolt (the one shown with all the washer) so I might go to HOmeDepot to find a shorter one so I can ditch some of the washers.
I'd love to add some performance...
Not sure if it matters but I have a DrawTite hitch that attaches with 6 bolts instead of 4. I just bought a 1-1/4" T2 last week and have only used it once with 1 DH bike. So far it seems pretty solid. I also have a regular '07 Impreza too.
What's wrong with calling the manufacturer asking who would have their product in stock? When I called Black Spire asking them who would have their headest in stock, I needed a low stack height, they gave me a few ideas on where to look.
Most energy drinks have vitamin B-12 in them so you'll be feeling fine in the morning... At least that's the vitamin I take before I crash out after drinking...
Didn't the killer look like Schley at first glance? If I didn't know it was a movie trailer i thought it would have turned into some kind of mountain bike ad.
Call and make sure the lifts are open for the times you'll be there and if you can do the South Boundary Trail. Sherpa is right, Taos and Red River are way better as far as unbike related stuff to do.
