Is it just a case of hating on the UCI because people love to be on whatever bandwagon is the cosyest to be on? I mean for sure the RockyRoads website is one piece of dog **** but the logo for the Premier race series of the sport we all love is not that bloody bad, it's just simple not amazing...
New World Cup logo is here, Of all the choices and variations I saw for the new re-branding this is pretty average but at least it gives the series a bit more identity...
I'm just really surprised to see that Hill is doing the whole Aussie series, big commitment for a guy that lives 2000km + away from the races. Contrary to popular opinion he is clearly motivated to win again after two seasons of injury. Graves is gonna be a major treat on certain world cup...

I hope DH1 works out Ray, I'll be there with bells and whistles on trying to qualify for Sunday's races if it does. I'm just on here trying to set a few folk straight that think the UCI are pure evil, that RockyRoads sabotaged Freecaster and that DH1 is the second coming of christ!
I suppose that's what I ment by "care" the fact that the UCI still put time and effort into the organisation, marketing and lets use the term loosely "managevenment, even though 1. it operates at a lose at the World cup level and 2. It isn't Olympic. I'm not saying that they are in love with DH...
What I meant was the UCI pay a company called SMARAGD Media (German company I think), to film every world cup round, they set up the cameras, cables, satelite connection etc.. This was the case for every World cup this year, except World Champs where Swiss Romandy TV did the production.
So...
That bicycling.com article is dated the 12th October, the Rockyroads.net article is dated 8th October, so unless rockyroads can see into the future I doubt they copied anything from www.bicycling.com
Not sure why everyone is looking for a battle between Rockyroads and Freecaster, there is no...
As far as I know this is not some brand new race series, but just an extension or expansion of the Nissan European DH Cups from last season, organised by X-Free from Belgium. They have the calender planned for next year already, Spain, Malmedy in Belgium, Sestriere in Italy, Oz en Oisan in...
Until his very recent run of unfortunate injuries Sam was arguably the most consistent rider on the World Cup circuit. He has had a podium position at every World Champs since 2001 (bar Canberra 09), he also had one of the longest podium streaks in recent history lasting through only missing the...
That's just it, the only info/news/interviews/comment/discussion we have on Gwin's coaching "staff" is that one press release we got at the start of the season. Would be great for the fans and Gwin's competition to get some more insight into the strength and conditioning Gwin is on. As it's...
Very interesting, of note for me where the 2008 and 2011 Fort Wiliam Results. Show's how the competition has slowly caught up! 5seconds back was a podium in 2008 now it's 9th place! Sam Hill on the podium in Legoland, very likely.

There ya go, sad stuff, Portugal is one of Europe's poorest countries. Pretty sudden news though I think.
