    Most overrated bands EVER!

I agree with the Beatles and AC/DC. Maybe I'm too young to appreciate the Beatles, but I would definately rank them as overrated. AC/DC is pretty close. Hard to stand the vocals, and I even like bad singers. And like the other guy said, same song over and over. I highly disagree with the...

That's why I'm selling. Obviously that wasn't the plan, but things can turn out different then you had hoped. I'm selling for a dirtbike. More suggested prices please! Thanks, Cam

    Selling my bike, suggested price??

Hey, I'm hoping you guys can help me out. I want to sell my 05 Trek Session 77 (MSRP 3400 American). Needless to say, it has only one year of riding on it, I'd say around 800 miles, 90% prairie miles (as in XC on back roads, even highways, etc.) Yes, now you know why I'm selling. No...

Longest and baggiest mountain bike short!

How about the Fox Airtroopers? They look long with a light chamois, pretty much exactly what I'm looking for! Anyone own these shorts? All suggestions greatly appreciated, Thanks, Cam

Longest and baggiest mountain bike short!

Rockgardn shorts don't have a liner (right...?) and I'll check out Azonic right now. Thanks, Cam

Longest and baggiest mountain bike short!

Hey, But the raceface don't have any extra padding as I understand it? And while I'm on that subject, what exactly is a chamois? I've heard that baggy shorts with chamois are just like an outer shell for lycra shorts. This is really unappealing, are there any options that just provide...

Longest and baggiest mountain bike short!

Hey, Looking for an extremely baggy and lengthy MTB short so my ass doesn't kill me on every ride over 20 km. Thinking about the new Oakley 2.6 Alloy, those look good, maybe not long enough however. Any suggestions (measurements would be fantastic) would be much appreciated! Thanks, Cam

    Should I get a helmet?

Helmets, helmets...blah. I own a full face helmet for hucks and jumps, but that's it. I feel very comfortable w/o a helmet in the city, backroads, grassy trails, etc. Certainly the responsible thing to do would be to get one and wear it constantly, but that's your choice. I will personally...

    Bender going for the century

I have tons of respect for BMXers. Just looking in RideBMX you will see guys doing 10 feet to flat - without helmets! And they are probably doing tricks as well! I wear a helmet for 5 feet to flat. Now you can argue all day long wheter this is bravery or stupidity, I personally think that...

    Iron horse 7.3

Perhaps, but there is no reason you cannot run a normal fork just because the headtube is 1.5". But if you don't want "manipoo" I guess that eliminates the breakout.

    Iron horse 7.3

Hey, Lots of people are telling you Sherman Breakout, but you don't seem to have anything to say? Do you have something against it, or Manitou? I have one on my Trek Session and it seems fine. They are light for sure, and adjustable. They look sick (gold stanchions) so I'd say go for the...

    Bender going for the century

Good point. Seriously, the sport of mountain biking needs this. I don't really give two ****s what lycra wearing XC guys say, you don't attract youth into this sport. You don't make this sport impressive. Kids see moto guys flying 90 feet and pulling off insane stunts, it's cool right? They...

Honestly How many Ride Road when they cant dh

I like highway riding on my mountain bike. I rode 90 km with a friend once, we were both on mountain bikes, I had a Trek Session. Baggy shorts, baggy shirt, no helmet or anything like that - I don't embrace the "road" image. I wanted to do a 150 km trip but that never happened. I...

Sticky Sherman's at low SPV pressures?

Hi, I finally got around to playing with my Sherman Breakout fork yesterday. I figured I would set SPV really low for a super smooth ride, I don't mind some fork movement anyway. So I set it at about 35 psi, and tested it out. First I just applied the front brake and pushed down, when...

Not sold on the Manitou Sherman Breakout+

Hey, Got a '05 Sherman breakout + on my new bike. It feels like a great fork, but I don't know how solid and stiff it is. When I first got the bike the fork wasn't holding the wheel tight. I did the hold-wheel-between-legs stiffness test and it didn't seem too amazing. Now when I hold the...

    Washing Freeride bike

This is like a brand new bike though so you think I need to re-grease the bolts? Thanks, Cam

    Washing Freeride bike

Wow, I got a little water on my disk brakes and they SUCKED afterwards. I couldn't lock the front wheel on a gravel road. It's a good thing I don't ride around in the rain. Does anyone have any ideas on getting rid of the rust around the disk brake bolts? Thanks, Cam

    Washing Freeride bike

Glad to hear that before I wash it. So plain water EVERYWHERE won't hurt anything? This white lightning, is it really expensive? Is it all you need to keep the drivetrain in excellent condition? Thanks, Cam

    Washing Freeride bike

So basically you can get water anywhere except the drivetrain and not worry about it? My plan is to take a bucket of warm water with dish soap and wipe down the entire thing, then take it out for a spin to dry it off. I mean, wiping down frame pivots, headset, hubs, BB, etc. is alright if the...
