Hey Gang
Got a summer job in Seattle starting in about a week and need a place to stay. I'll most likely be back in Vancouver on the weekends and most of my stuff is staying up there too. So I'm really just looking for a spare bedroom. Of course, I'll throw down for rent...no free rides...
How much did they charge you. I got a set of 2004 WC, and the lowers are pretty mucked up, but in fine structural condition. So I was thinking of replacing them.
Thanks
So I looked for like 10 mins on the performance site and didn't find anything. Did you find the coupon on their site or somewhere else?
Where do I find these mythical coupons?:help:
Thanks for the reback, "you dirty monkeys". Keep it coming
I probably should have included the type of riding that I will be doing: almost 95% shore riding. Maybe Whistler or Sun Peaks or something like that once or twice a year, but mostly shore. I'm thinking SC because my rear always falls...
What do you monkeys think of a 6" SC fork, like a Sherman Flick/Firefly, or Zoke 150, or RS Pike on an 03 Big Hit with the 6.8 to 8.1" link. Do you think the geometery would be all messed up? Would it perform differently with less travel in the front then in the back? I would like to put a 66...
So I bought a couple of used wheels that I want to pull the rims (321 and Mag30) and put them on my current formula hubs. The rims are on hubs that won't fit. Either rim has different rim tape. The 321, some sort of fabric stuf, and the Mag30, some sort of heat shrink stuff. I've had wheels that...
Hey Gang
What do you guys know about Dirty hubs and rims? I've tried to do a search, but there really wasn't anything of worth.
Also, does anyone have any experiance with the Syncro DH rims?
Here are the websites:

Thanks
My engineering opinion: it's too late. ride it till it breaks. Make a note where it broke. Then buy another bike that addressess the weak points of the other modified frame.
You might get a couple of seasons out of it, but judging on the dirt jump pic that you posted, one screw up and land...
Without a doubt, totally worth it! I got a used DH2 and totally love it. Plus the service is outstanding. A billion times better then the 888.
My 2 cents
Talk about Marin, I was just looking on their site.
Has anyone tried the new XLT? It blows that there is only 6.9 inches of travel, but I like the idea...full seat tube, I'm sold on the quad link thing, etc. What ever did happen to Marin and the FR/DH scene? Weren't they one of the originals...
I heard that Devinci is putting the air on their Wilsons. I agree with the "wallowness", but would love to drop a lb off my bike.
The one question I got though is how would it perform in colder weather, like now?
